hey friends as we all know that everybody download songs and music for internet from various free websites. well actually we did not feel anything before downloading but it is actually the great great efforts of artists because of which we are able to listen such great pieces of music.
it comes as a huge loss to them when they are not able to sell their work because it is already available for free on internet.it is like doing efforts and someone steals your work and you just cannot do it anything...well it will not work out till the people will think it in a way.......as a big issue........

It is a huge issue but the problem is practically nothing can be done really. People can try to ban, but then it'd be the government or whoever, trying to control the internet. That would be giving too much restriction on something that is meant to be open and free. We'd be no better then other countries that restrict and censor internet from the public.

By the same token, I suppose you would say that all sorts of criminal and harmful activity should be allowed on the Internet. You would permit, I suppose, all sorts of sites which advocated and graphically portrayed rape, incest, torture, paedophilia, open racial hatred and many other things. You would allow people to post whatever they wanted, including sites which openly stole your money and information and worse.
Please don't be naive. The Internet is NOT 'open and free' and never should be in the real world. You have either misunderstood the meanings of 'open' and 'free' completely or you are living in cloud cuckoo land.

I will admit that there was a time that I was doing this because it was a way that I could get the music that I wanted to listen to. However, I also found that by illegally downloading music like that was also ruining my computer and for that reason I stopped doing it.
Now, I will admit that there are times that I will record music off of the internet with some software that I do have on my computer, but I will never share the music that I have.

i really dont feel anything because one reason, its true that artist do such great job by singing their songs but i also think that an artist earns so much money from us when we buy music cds or downloads from legal sites on the net, for me its not fair an artist get so much money for a few hours in concert millions of dollars and i will never agree with such salaries, same as boxers, soccer players, basketball players and so on, anyway i can listen annd watch in you tube any song i like.

for me, i consider buying albums of artists that i know will be worth the price.sadly, there are only a few of them out there. cds are expensive, i don't see the point of buying an original copy when you only get 1 or 2 great songs. that's not worth the money at all.
if these record companies can reduce the price, then people will not resort to illegal downloading.
there is a very thin line separating illegal to legal downloads. for example, i have a sony phone and it gives me applications to download. now, will you consider that illegal? if so, why would sony and your network allow these? these companies know the websites, they even give you access to these websites. why would they do that? people create illegal websites, but they need a platform to promote their websites. i don't even know what their criteria in banning websites.

well, every artist wants his/her work to be appreciated by the public. at least, that's what i know. but of course, they need to survive and get back their investments in giving and sharing their talents. i go for intellectual property rights. i respect the ownership and rights of the creator of music and movies. there has to be balance in making music and movies accessible to the public and the investment returns of the creators.

In my opinion, I think the illegal downloading of music is the same thing as stealing it.
I wonder how these websites are allowed to do it.

All non-purchased music can't be played in public, as a dj I know this perfectly.
Today's music and movie industry, is must say, have less quality then 20 years ago.
If I was just a ordinary guy who listen music only at his home and that music which I listen will be old in 3 weeks, why would I buy it when I can easily download it for free and save the money for something else? I buy music because I earn money playing those track, I don't buy track which I don't intend to play, it's a waste of money. Those tracks are meant to be purchased for short term playing. There is no great albums anymore to outlive their time, no great movie, everything is in marketing and selling the product in shortest time because next product is waiting his BIG presentation. There is no ARTISTS anymore, only manufactures with a lack of quality in every aspect.
Software's should be purchased without any doubt, you know what are you buying in long term and they are more useful then music or movies
Some things should be purchased and some just don't.
Try it before you buy it.
