Don't mess up with a little girl, they're dangerous!

I am a newly hired Operating Room (OR) nurse in a private hospital. As a new one, I observe the protocol and follow the rules of the OR. It was my duty when some friend asked for me from the waiting area. A moment after I left, I saw a girl who wished to enter the OR. She said that her mom was there and she needed to speak with her. Thinking that there was no operation inside the OR, and definitely no patient catered inside yet, I spoke to that girl and said that she might had went to the wrong room and guided her the way to the ward. The girl kept on begging me to enter the room, but I refused. She got irritated and said, "I cant take this! are you new here? Don't you know that I am the daughter of your head nurse! Wait and see 'till my mom get you fired!". I was dumbfounded for a moment, I don't know what to say, the girl forcefully entered the room and stared at me like a lion staring at her pity prey. Lucky for me, the head nurse understood after I explained.

Wow. The little girl doesn't understand we have policy and rules that govern every institution. Just forgive her. I hope her mum will tell her some rules so that next time she come she will be more disciplined. You suddenly did the right thing.

That's one reason english shouldn't be taught in schools. Children only learn how to curse and english is a language where curse words are abundant. Thanks to it being a universal language, it can't be removed in the curriculum. The girl's heart might have melted when you apologized to her and said you didn't know.

I see that you were so against English. Well, Bad english words were not taught in schools, they were learned from multimedia, or wheresoever other than the school. Teachers are our advocate, you know.I can see that the girl's reaction from what I had treated her was normal, and I understood her. That might be the attitude even for the adults when treated the same way.

Hahaha! That was surely an embarrassing and terrifying experience you had. Kidding aside, if I were you, I could have thought who were the persons inside the OR aside from a possible patient you could entertain in there, and who might she be looking for. That way, you could have acted smartly and never have earned her ire.

Yes, I was a novice then. I've learned from my mistake, that moment I saw the girl, I think I can remember her for the rest of my life! the next time she'll visit the OR, I will surely hid myself from shame! grrr!
