Children in Beauty Pageants

Morning everyone-- I was just wondering what everyone's thoughts were on Children Beauty Pageants. Do you think this is a positive or negative experience for the child and why do you feel that way? This is no way reflects my opinion. I would just like to get your thoughts..

I have no problem with children who want to be in beauty pageants provided that we let children remain and behave like children. Let them put descent clothes and no make up. I say no to scanty clothing and a lot of make up.
