I am sitting here thinking I really need to clean my house but stopped to check on all my email while having a cup of coffee and turned on the television and I was just flippimg through the channels and thinking hmm? I haven't watched t.v. in a while so I turned on Jerry Springer! L.O.L. I used to watch it all the time but have not in such a long time and I am l.m.a.o.! It just doesn't have the interest to me like it used to. I am surprised that it is even still on! Have you ever been at home and tried to watch something after not watching it for such a long time? And then you finds it is just all the same as it used to be and no changes have been made since the show first started?

I use to watch The Days of Our Lives everyday in the summer. I tried watching it on the soap network once and just started laughing. They had the same people and scenarios from 30 years ago. Unbelievable, but true. Needless to say I stopped watching it.
My guess is you didn't finish cleaning the house. I know if I intend on cleaning the house the tv must stay off or on music. If I start watching tv, the house cleaning never happens. If you did get it cleaned, kudos to you.

L.O.L. I used to watch Days Of Our Lives too so long ago and I just stopped watching it. For me I have to have the t.v. or music on when I am cleaning.I can't stand it to be quiet when I am awake. This is kind of a big hous eand I get scared when alone so I will keep some kind of noise on. He he he. Scared of the boogie man still!

LOL, the boogie man is always lurking in my basement. Especially, when my husband is gone. My cat think there's a boogie cat down there. She'll run upstairs so fast after hearing a loud noise tail all fluffed out and panic in her eyes. It's actually very funny to see.

Hi ja hernandez rivas: I remembered when I was a teen I loved watching talk shows specially that Laura de America show which is very popular here in Latin America It's so bad, talking about these awfully outrageous stories: people fighting, cheating, broken families, etc that I can't consider this a kind of entertainment. I don't see anything positive about these talk shows.

I have never heard of here before. I don't find any of all that cheating lying and all that funny either but the parts that are funny is the way they act on television he he he L.O.L. And I really think most or even some of it is all an act just for money? I remember to when I was younger I got a kick out of those type of shows but not they are just boring anymore.

I laughed when seeing the topic talk shows. A few days ago I watched some of Jerry Springer and am surprised that people act that way on television. I'm not surprised the show still airs with so many people watching day time talk shows.

From what I understand reading your threads, you should be a lover of the TV series.
What do you think for example of "Dr. House" which is broadcast also in Italy?
To be honest I've never seen it.

I think the talk shows are "for the birds". Is there not enough drama in our lives today, but turn on a talk show and watch everybody fuss and fight!!!!! I am not trying to be mean. I respect anybody's decision to watch what they want, but I do not like them.
Thanks

I used to watch jerry, jerry all the time. Back in the early 90's when the show was pretty new, I was also in my twenties. I am now 30 and my interest have changed, drastically. What once seemed important and fun isn't. Besides like you said it's the same story line over and over. Now you know to expect a fight or see someone's weave come off. No surprises anymore. I turned it on recently and was too surprised the show is in rotation. The network should give it a boot!

I think the same way I used to enjoy it when I was younger too but it is just the same and not even any fun to watch anymore.

I used to watch Jerry Springer before. But like you said it is all the same no matter what day it is. I am quite surprised that there are that many people out there that can keep this show running. There are many shows that I find are quite the same all the time. Like the court shows. I try to stay away from these shows now as they do not seem interesting to me anymore.
