Harvest Moon back to nature for PS1

There is a game of playstation 1 which I loved to play and I'm still playing occasionally through my laptop. Harvest Moon is a farming game which you get to manage your farm, horse, cows, sheep, chicken and planting & harvesting corps. You will also get to woo from five girls and get married with one of them.
The game does not have stunning graphics, yet it is still as interesting as it is. Anyone played the game before? Share your experience of the game here =D

played this game during my high school yrs that was probably 98-99 to be honest i still have that game on my laptop i use emulator to play it. i really love the horse racing events and stuffs, chicken laying golden eggs, making milks from cows, cooking, i love the sound of winter breeze, i love to chill and relax in the hot springs, pick up those mushrooms and eat it, oh yeah memories are coming back instantly xD

Wow you still remember all the activities we can do there.
Actually i still remember those all too, and thats why i think this Harvest Moon is the best from all other Harvest Moon series. Actually my favorite activity in there is the chicken sumo festival. It is a fun festival where we let our chicken fight other chicken and the chicken who wins it will be able to lay a golden egg everyday.

Well the first time i played it, i never win any festival at first year. But after the second play, i can win it since i already know how to play it. For tomato festival, it is really funny when we see everyone got tomato in their face and it makes me laugh just to see it. Actually, these festival really is specials for me, it is a very fun activities that i never found in other games.

haha, I'm pretty sure that people who enjoyed the game will never forget what we can do in the game. I like the tomato festival and the chicken sumo festival. They are both fun and interactive. I always win in both festivals

I have played that game before and for me it's still the best harvest moon game. Even if it's only have a standard graphics compared to the newer harvest moon versions, but that the first harvest moon game i've played and it means alot for me. The gameplay is simple and not hard at all but there is the most fun part of this game and almost make me forget if this is a RPG game.

The girls is one of the fun part of this game too. We can give them gifts, dating them, married, and having kids. When i played this game for first time, this is the first game i played that implemented those feature. It is a refreshing changes they made that make this game really a special RPG like nothing else.
Other than Back to Nature, i also like A Wonderful Life because it has similiar features like the Back to Nature.

Yup, I've also played the later releases which I find them to no be as fun as this version. I enjoy the festivals in the game and how to woo the girls. It's really a fun life in the game and I hope the game can get better in the sense that more realistic feature can be implemented in the game

I do play it before in my PSP.I like the planting and harvesting.The fishing and digging for something to get.I think I should play it again and see a far I still can go.

hi there ardoy, is the PSP version exactly the same with PS1 version of Harvest Moon back to nature? Yeah, I've been playing this game for years and I haven't got tired of it. Old games can be good too ^^

I actually have the PSP version, Harvest Moon: Boy & Girl. I love pretty much every HM game, they're so fun.
although sometimes I accidentally hit my dog when it's running around on the field and I'm trying to cut grass. It's sad.

Some version of harvest moon will not affect your dog's affection towards you even if you accidentally hit him. Some however to affect your dog. Just be careful there

Ahaha, my dog hated me after I hit him once. I've learned and have started fencing it in to avoid smacking him with my tools.

I havent tried that version of harvest moon well I only played it on Gameboy advance in an emulator anyway XD... It's an addicting game for sure since I played it for hours just to plant some, get eggs, milked some cow, get some wool, cook some food, Mined some gems and flirt with girls XD... I wanted to get all the girls but when my friend told me that you can only choose one I quit T_T... Was planning to collect all the rare goods but Im not sure if that really made me quit... the girls XD...

Harvest Moon Back to Nature is a first real-life simulation game isn't it?
it makes a memory and nostalgic
the game's very great, i had to play it again and again to get a different ending
yet, too bad the next series isn't as good as this one
