Sometimes I found it is easy for me to identify the Mylotters who come from my country. Even if they are just new members, but it is still not very difficult for me. As usually most of them have Chinese style nicknames in Mylot

I can identified some of them, usually I can tell it from their username . Some Indonesian members in myLot like to use username which is "really Indonesian-taste". By the way, it's better to check someone's profile page to check their identity and whereabouts..

Varier, you are using English name with a Chinese cartoon avatar. So, it is hard for me to identify you. Indeed, still checking through each member's profile is the best way to get to know, they are coming from where. Except if they didn't put their country in their profile, then it is really hard to identify them.

Hi,my friend, i think it is not a hard thing to identify them. Maybe we can't know which country he or she is from on the first contact(discussions and responses), but as they raising discussions and respond to your posts, you can bottom out it from what they said and the way they are talking. Of course, we are hard to detect which country he or she is from if he or she is from western countries, just like westerners always find it hard to different chinese from koreans or japanese.

good day youless, with regard to your topic discussion, honestly, i am quite slow in that ability. as i cannot really identify who among here at mylot came from my home country. often times, names of the person cannot be used as a basis for the nationality. except for those who are really identifiable the moment you have read their names.

Very true some of them will use their real names but most of mylot members are using usernames which are different than their names. Like you airasheila, if I don't checked your profile I would never know that you are from Philippines.(^^)

It's quite hard for me and sometimes it get so difficult for me to know which country they are from. I know all of my friends or mylotters from my country by checking their profile. Otherwise I will never know that they are from my country. MOst of their usernames are really different and I could not detect them if I am not checking their country in their profile page. I have noticed that some of Chinese friends here they like to put their family name in their usernames. Like you if I don't checked your profile you son's picture is enough to tell us that you are from China. If they use the real photo like you then I think I could know which country they are from.(^^)

Hi CT, it is pity that you are very hard to identify me. Because i am using alphabet and numbers as my user name. Indeed by checking through every member's profile is the best way to get to know each member's country of origin. Hope you are doing fine over there, CT.

I know that your username is not your family name but I wonder what youless stands for?? I am sis~ To see malaysian here is too hard as they are not many malaysian here. When I checked them in users by location page most of them are not even active at all. Feel a little bit sad. Perhaps they are more into facebook~(^^)

You are really a careful person. It is true.Take me for example, changjiangzhibin is referred to where I live,It is transliteration of its chinese " on the banks of Yangtze River".However you are an exception,I don't know what the "youless" suggests and I cann't associate it with Chinese style at all.

Hello you less. Sometimes I can identify the members from my country as some have Romanian name like nicknames over here at mylot (like one of my friends Vasile for example) but for others it is rather hard unless I check their style of writing or their profile.

It is easy to identify mylotter, moreover, they come from Indonesia. I could see from their name and language ability. Indonesia's user is very typical with their name and it is often time they used their name as username.

I think it is little bit difficult to identify mylotters from different country but it becomes easy when the real images of a person is uploaded as his avatar. If I don't get them I used to look the profile and have the identity.

Yes, I can, if he or she use the real name. But I've never found anyone from my country because I'm a newbie. Nickname is harder to recognize because a lot of people use English nickname.

i guess it is easy to spy a chinese person like you my friend that is if they use chinese names. but you are different i have no clue that you are chinese expect at the last part of your comment you always put I Love China... which i think is pretty cool. i can identify some of the mylotters if they are from our country the Philippines, sometimes by names and most of the times with post. if they post something that is happening with our country they it is easy to say that he is from the Philippines. the other day a new member was talking about Jollibee then i know exactly that member is from the Philippines. sometimes you can guess from usernames and sometimes you can guess with post. sometimes with comments as well. have a great weekend youless.

I think you may able to identify some people but not all the people from you country. Mostly because they have a Chinese style nickname. But for you, even thought you are from China, but I don't think you yourself or others from China will be able to identify you. . I can only identify you are from China from the picture.

Well, yes, usually I can identify my own countrymen ~ from the name, or his/her picture if the avatar is a real person, to the topic being discussed, sometimes even the way he/she uses the English language. But, of course, sometimes I make a mistake.
