Firecracker ban!

Hello Filipino mylotters! Christmas is fast approaching. I know everybody is so excited about it. I am sure many people will buy firecrackers for this great season. I live in Davao City and we have a firecracker ban here. If you bring one here, you'll surely celebrate Christmas in jail. The advantage of this is nobody will get hurt. We have zero case of accident during Christmas and New Year. But the disadvantage of this is, In my own opinion, our celebration is so quiet. It feels so boring. What can you say about this? How about in your place?
