Yeah, it may be a plus if you are learned abroad or have studied abroad. If you have the money why not but I know some who have done so. They have an edge with regards to applying for work but if your intention is just to learn, I think there are institutions in your country who can give you that and maybe less expensive too compared to studying in other countries/abroad.

There have been many reasons for parent to push their kid to study abroad especially parents who already knew the benefits of studying abroad. To answer your hesitation, you should go or find information detail what you're looking for. I didn't know if in your places, should be there education fair from aboard which was organized by embassy of a certain country or international education fair. Your quest would be answered by asking their representative there. Good Luck

i think that was a good thing, you can understand about another country and understand about the people.
it will help you understand this world.
study abroad will make you more responsible to yourself, because in other country, you have to struggle to live there alone.
you will only get any help from your friend.

Hi hooha!
Studying abroad is a once in a lifetime opportunity that every student should grab especially if it is an all-expense paid program. If I was given the chance to study abroad, I will definitely take that opportunity. I like going to different places and experiencing different cultures. It would be an exciting memory to treasure. I also like meeting foreigners especially of course those who are friendly enough to exchange life views and cultural values with me.
Unfortunately, here in our country studying abroad is only available to those who have money to spend for it.

Here it is the same. If the tuition can be affordable, then people are still willing to send their children to study abroad. After all, the study pressure will be less heavy there. And the certification can be recognized all over the world. And it is easy for you to find a good job since the overseas schools are usually much more advanced. A good education is always welcome.
I love China

Studying abroad may be like an assurance for your progress but it introduces you towards a life of maturity. You are going to a foreign country, then you will understand better what does it mean to be a foreigner and what does it mean to be a citizen. You shuold be so much careful to respect others and be cautious. You must assure yourself that you have money and you will not be indulged in abusive habits. No one will be behind you so your psyche must be strong to withstand any trouble with serenity and mature disposition. You may be facing the danger of getting into destructive vices. It is up to you to make best use of the occasion, then you will reap a rich harvest

hello,
Actually, it is depends on the person if the he will like to study abroad or not because if he really enjoy doing it. Well, maybe he can survive. I dont really have any idea about that but everyone wants to study abroad of course because of the opportunity you will learn from them is more advance.

hoohaa: I answered a part of this discussion in my previous response. We will know the importance of home town only when we are away from it.
True higher studies in foreign countries --it is good if you are sure of getting a high paying job.
India is the second country after Mexico in sending students for studies in USA. But nowadays education has become very costly and slightly beyond the reach of many of us.

I say you go what your heart and mind tells you. If you wanted to go abroad and learn how to be independent, take the opportunity in studying abroad. I also dream of going abroad for study. I love to immerse myself in a new country and a culture different from our own. You don't have to decide now. Take your time.

I like to go abroad to study..I want to achieve some thing in life...I don't like to be a wife and a parent of child..I want to stand or live in my own income..I will not study in my home because my mother and sister will say some thing about their friends..So I spend most my time with them to share my feelings...I think that I will study well by separating from them..I like to know the difficulties in living hostel...Thanks...

There is absolutely no need to study abroad. think about the cost and all. Actually most places offer similar educational facilities. so unless your place really lack of adequate educational institution, I won't recommend you to study abroad. Even though it may be a good experience.
