My husband been to the doctor this morning for a check-up. It's been 5 days since he's not feeling well due to tonsillitis. At first, he just gargling an oral antiseptic solution. he noticed it improving, not until a day before going in a party and eat a lot of desserts (he's a sweets lover), his tonsillitis got worst with fever. He's now into medication, an antibiotic and still continue gargling. The cold wheather too has added factor to his sickness.
Sad to let the children knew that their long awaited day tomorrow is to be cancel *sad!... 'glad they understand why!
Did it happened to you? Cancelling a planned celebration that very much awaited for your kids or loved one's? Are they so understanding why it should be?

hi there Lhenni, It can't be helped since your husband is sick. I think if we explain properly to kids, they will understand. Plus, you can always do a make up birthday celebration later on. The kids know that you didn't forget, but just have to postpone. They will not be too sad about it.

Yes squallming, it's just posponed... there's more days to make the outing worry-free :)
What's the most important is the health of our provider. If he's sick long, well, maybe his payout will be half *sigh... and I don't want that to happen hihihi...
Happy Sunday!

Oh that's sad. I hope he gets well soon. The last outing that was cancelled was out trip to Cagayan De Oro. I'll be honest I was really pissed. We had plane tickets and booked a hotel but sadly my leave wasn't granted. I had no choice since I was still under probation that time. On the brighter side too, my boyfriend had fever. So it was both our faults why the trip was cancelled. hihi.

First of all, let me wish speedy recovery for your husband. But he will be better advised to exercise caution & preventive controls as tonsillitis can be quite a bother. My daughter has suffered with it quite long. We mostly used alternative medicines in her case.
I have a grown up daughter but she is the one who mostly makes all those plans for going out on trips. Most of the time it is she who does all the search, scheduling and last but not the least, following up continuously with me until we make that happen.
Last vacations, she had planned a four day outing all decided. She was excited because she gets to experience some good hotel stay. Unfortunately, just about two days before we were to start, my company MD planned a visit to our site. My presence was essential. We had to cancel the trip. She was sad. . We could understand her disappointment. But knowing the importance of the work, she reconciled with it.
She got more than compensation within a few months when we actually made that trip.

Hi there!
My husband has been active doing badmenton as his form of exercise and jogging too once a week... he's diagnosed to have in his pre-diabetic level... well, it's hereditary to their family having diabetes that's why he's so conscious about it too.
Oh yes! Work is important to us no compromise to that. And having sad the another important reason why we worked is another thing, right?! It's quite a challenging circumstances to deal such VS such *LOL... But then again, it will surely ends well.
Happy Sunday!
