This saying is quite eminent and has proved to be true to almost every person at some stage of life. I was not keeping well during my previous year of MA, and by the end of december I was badly ill. I was at bed rest. I knew that I would not be able to give exams as I had not prepared well. My exams were to begin in late march. I told my mother about my thinking, but she insisted that I should give the exams else i'll ruin my year. Listening to her advice, I began preparing for my exams. I worked really hard, and finally my efforts bore fruit. I cleared my exams with 80%. Mom was extremely happy and I thanked her for her advice.

I agree with you..I don't like to study the lessons regularly...I only studies that before exams..And on that time,I will think that In next time,I will study the all thing regularly...But after passing that exam by studying at midnight with out sleep...After that days I will be same like old situation...I like to spend my all time with friends...I am doing a professional course...So I want to concentrate on studies...But I always like to sit by doing some thing in my lap top like editing my friend's and my sister's daughter's photos..Now that's my main hobby...I will think as your discussion while seeing some students that they attends the exams easily and scores well..They always hard works to achieve some thing and studies the chapters regularly..I like to follow them and now.I am a Bca 2nd year student...So I will hard work to get good marks in this year...Thank you

I sure, that happiness will be spread around all the family, if their son or daughter achieve, what they looking from them. Ashudeep my good friend,If with 5 days of effort you end up scoring 90%.I can't imagine what you could have scored if you had worked hard all year round.I don't say this with a view to discourage you,but you have great talent for doing well academically.You can shine at difficult subjects provided you channelize your energy properly.I have scored well but never 90%,hence i can't say I've been in the same league or got a similar experience to share.

Yes hardworking is key to success.Laziness will help us to realize how to work with our own ,and not to be lazy..Studying helps our mind to exercise,and do the bet we can..

it is really true. And i have also face a situation slightly similar to this. It happened in highschool days. My father told me that when i reach the top 5 spot in our classroom he will buy me a computer that i eagerly want. So what i did is that i study hard as hard as i can so that i will reach the top 5 spot in our classroom. So to make the story short. At the end of the school year, i ranked top 3 in our class. ^^, so my father buy the computer that i'm dying to have. Ahahaha! I also got a bonus. ahahaha!

Hard work ususally leads to success. I say usually because most of us can point to someone who worked very hard, and in the end things did not turn out as expected. This suggests that we must also work hard because it is the right thing to do, even if success is not always the end result. Being diligent and hard-working are character qualities that help in every area of life.

I agree with this statement. Back in College, I work hard to attain what I want and I was able to do it. I was successful in my own right in my career and after I got married, I started to change. I didn't strive hard anymore in my career and I can see the outcome!

I think that if you work hard, you are much more likely to succeed in whatever you're trying to do than if you didn't bother to work hard at all. A lot of the time, the people who work hard are those who care the most about what they're doing, so this means that they're much more determined to do well and obviously this, in turn, means that they're the ones who are the most likely to be able to do so. I work incredibly hard and often find that I work up to 14 hours per day earning money online because I know that I will be able to have an amazing future if I do this now.

You might have got accurate results due to your high IQ power to learn. God has smiled at you and you have got the expected result. It does not function with all. Let me speak with my experience as Headmistress. I have seen students studying long long hours, taking tuitions yes get just average marks or even fail. Yet there had been students always playing, just doing the home work, just doing thde revision before the exam and never sacrificing night sleep yet scoring very high marks. I have experienced also that after conducting the yoga to the students daily, all the children scored high marks. In life all may not have high intelligence, all may not have sharp memory, but they may have luck. If you ask me do you believe in luck, well I say I believe in the Divine Providence of God and His blessings. In practical life too some have magnetic power to wealth and money. They easily make big money with least effort. There are people struggling hard, but they never come up in life. Sickness, misbeavior drinking, gambling and losing everything. I have also seen couples working very hard and living with mutual love and coming up during their children's carreer. Usually hard work, with constant supervision and commitment brings desired results towards success but not always. Life is not that much mathematical to all

This is quite true. Whenever I can see that I am not good on doing something or I lack the know how on a certain task or subject, I just put in my best effort and work doubly hard on trying to accomplish and know the trade. The secret is to work hard and focus. You don't need to be a genius to excel in something. You just need to have a goal or plan to be able to do that something. That is where hard work and persistence come into play. There are a lot of geniuses and highly intellectual people out there who are not that successful. That is because they fail to put their best effort and hard work into it. Hard work is especially needed for the young ones as they still have to prove their worth to the world. Real world will really pressure them and will give them the struggle. Hard work and persistence is needed to overcome such problems. Here's to my two cents!

In my point of view, this new generation where in we are living in a very competitive world. I don't think hardwork alone is the key to success. We should be smart in every thing we do, study our every move and strategically implement each plan. That's the main factor why wise business minded individual excel in this generation. Hardwork is not enough this days.We should be smart in every move.

too many lazy people around the world. they more money but less doin jobs. that is bull"hit i think. more jobs we do mean more money. but some time hardworkind is not enough, we must have good patient commitment, and proffesionality, thus sucess may come. and always pray to God. God never helps someone who never helps himself

its reality...and i taste it . i dont like to study..all time. i spend hard when exams are at doors.now my exams are going on..and i am trying realy hard.but now i felt..that if i spend a little time earlier..it will be not this..hard.

Ashudeep: Hard work is the key of success -- When a man put smart hard work he will get excellent results. In my view besides hard work being 80%, luck is also required 20% to ensure success in life and various situations.

Congratulations for what you have achieved. Success comes with great determination and hardworking. The inspiration you get from your family could also be a big factor in achieving success in life. I am still on the process of proving it to my family.

hardworking really is the key to success. When i was in college, i was a scholar and i had to maintain my grades above 90%, well i managed to graduate "cumlaude" and after graduation it was very easy to find a job, and now just relaxing and waiting for my next contract.
