Have you find people whose Face Book profile say something different than their real identity.Like, I have met a lot of peoples whose face book profiles says something and they look different in real life.
If you read post of some guys, you would imagine that they are quite cool but when you spend time with them in real, you are taken by surprise with their not-so-cool attitude.
Tell me guys have you encounter such people or not???
I have encounter a lot of such people in my life.

I just watched well it was sort of a documentary the other day and it was called Catfish. It was about a woman who took pictures put them on her facebook as her family and friends. she even invented them and opened up i think it was 5 accounts under different names and talked on evcryone of them as that person. This guy made a surprise visit to her and did a docutmentary on it..... She came clean by the end of the movie. It was interesting to know you never know who you are talking too at a given time.

Yes, there are many people who seems to be another person online. Most of the times they are trying to get the life they don't really have by faking it using Facebook or other social networking sites. Usually, they want to be the cool guy or the rich chic and Facebook seems to be a good place to live their dream life.

I think that a lot of people are totally different on the internet than they are in real life, and this is something that everybody should be aware of. One of the reasons that online relationships don't really work is for the simple fact that when the two individuals eventually meet up face to face, they find that they're not the same people as they are online and they therefore don't get on as well because of that. You should never take a person to be the person who they are online, because it's probably not the absolute truth.

hello friend!
I've also experienced that one. Saying something cool in facebook but in real life, they are different. i can't understand why they have to do that. Isn't it much easier to be true than to make people believe that you are a different person? I think it is easier to be just yourself. Making friends on facebook whom you do not know is something not good as for me. we can just confirm them or not.So, if they get rejected, it's very embarrassing to their part.

Seen alot of posers if that's what you mean. But I have met with people that are very could in facebook chat and texting but in actual conversation, they're the shy type. the seem to be strong willed, very talkative when were talking through the phone and through chat, but when we met at the mall, she almost didn't talk to me, she would only talk to me if I asked her a question. and after that when we got home, she asked sorry because she was shy around me.
To much social media seems to have an effect on people...
Specially where I come from, well anyway nice topic friend.
have a good day :)
