i had this desire once to take pictures of the sunrise and the sunset and i must say that the sunset impressed me more..it's lot more colourfull,misterious,clouds can take amazing shapes sometimes,and the sky becomes a rainbow..it's also a strange feeling that takes over your body as the sun hides between the horizont..it's magic:)

Both are beautiful sights to behold, but personally I prefer dawn, when the sun just starts to rise. Its so symbolic, it sort of represents a new day, a new beginning and a fresh start.

I prefer the sunset. I am a romantic type and of the times there are some fabulous sunsets that arouse some strong emotions in me.
