Coffee before a good nights sleep

I so agree with you dhawanbm, a cup of hot coffee helps me sleep immensely. As others have mentioned, the general consensus is that the caffeine will keep you awake all night, but I guess our tolerances are wired differently. A proper cup of coffee with milk and sugar is good, but sometimes I prefer having black coffee so that I can get that pure coffee taste. I also notice a difference in my sleep if I have black coffee compared to with milk and sugar. Perhaps adding milk and sugar is too much for my digestion before bed, but either way, it's still nice to have a cup of coffee!

I can totally relate to you!
I, too, enjoy a fresh cup of coffee at night, sometimes before going to bed. A lot of my relatives think I'm crazy because I'm downing caffeine as I'm supposed to be winding down and going to sleep. But it seems my body is wired differently; coffee helps me relax if I drink it in a very moderate dosage.
Truly nothing like enjoying your cup - as you said - in bed while watching TV!

I don't drink coffee before bed time at all, because it has caffeine in it and will make it a lot harder for you to fall asleep. In addition to this, watching the television isn't all that great either because it means that your mind is thinking about things when in reality it should be relaxing and nice and quiet ready for you to be able to get some well earned sleep. I like to have a nice warm cup of hot chocolate before I go to bed because this means that I am sleepy. I find that reading a book right before you sleep is much better than watching the television or anything like that.

I like having my night cup before going to bed. It is like my routine already. Without coffee at night, I will not be able to sleep well. It's like my energizer during the day and my relaxation in a cup at night. Good to know I'm not the only one.=)

I think having a drink of hot coffee or milk before going to sleep is good and makes your sleep better. Usually I drink hot milk before going to sleep and I can really feel the result of it because I tend to have a better sleep and have a better wake up in the morning. And it is also found that milk has some property that makes us go to sleep that's why child who drink milk usually end s up in sleeping.
And also drinking coffee coupled with watching TV can set the mood for your sleeping because enjoying the drink and watching can release some stresses from work or our activities.

I do sometimes but I think it would be better not to do that. I think only the best time it at the early morning.
