I absolutely hate my hair! If you only know what my hair has gone through and you'd hate me. lol. I was born with a straight hair. But because I was so vain, maybe got it from reading a lot of magazines, watching fashion TV or perhaps my perception of art unto ones self. I decided to curl my hair back when I was 13 years old. Then I hated it due to the reason that it was too short to curl, so I straighten it. Then I got bored with my hair style and because it was mandatory in college to tie our hair, I decided to curl it again. Had my curls for 5 years and went back to straight after that. Now I'm confused to what I'm going to do. I'm scared to go back to curls but I want a different look. So confused :( Any other ideas?

it's true.. i understand.
vanity under control is not bad and we have to take care of our body bec ause it is the temple of God.
Ideal makeup disguises imperfections, highlights a strong point and always goes almost
unnoticed.
BUT nothing lights up a face as well like a SMILE.
good humor and health = beauty

I definitely agree! Wearing a smile is the most easiest and effortless beauty regimen. Staying happy and healthy brings the best features in you.
Keep on smiling my friend! :)

I guess that's one thing girls are unique of! :)
Well, it is really a hassle for us girls. But hey, trying to look good isn't that bad. I mean, unless you get surgeries, that my friend is already going to far.
I just like to look presentable at least. Like fixing your hair or wearing a natural make up. It's not the kind of make up you wear for a party or like the looks of lady gaga. But just a soft and natural looking make up rarely noticeable is good. It's also a way for women to boost their self esteem. Some people think women want to look good to get a man's attention but most do it to compete with other women. Looking good means you know how to take care of yourself.
You have to admit it but you don't like seeing ladies who don't know how to take care of themselves, right? :))

That's a good idea too! I haven't been to any Korean salon.
But I do know they have nice hairs and cool hair styles.
What's the best Korean salon you know? :)

You're so vain rakenkarenne! I do understand you because I also love to have a new style for my hair! My hair is really straight before and I had it curled again and now my hair is back to its original look. My hair is now straight. If you wanted to have a new look, try to change the color of your hair and have a hair cut.

Would not argue about that! LOL. I just like to pamper myself and make sure I look at least presentable. Not really for others but just for myself. Taking care of oneself is not a sin right? But I'm not that obsessed yet and I wouldn't go as far as getting any plastic surgeries.
Yeah, will definitely change the color of my hair. wink*

How about just changing the cut? You don't need to curl it again unless you really want to have it done that way. Chemicals might make your hair dry as well.
If it would help, try some makeover apps or software that shows you different hairstyles on you. These apps or software will require you to upload some photo of yourself. Try www.dailymakeover.com.

Wow, that's great. Actually my hair is already damage considering what it has been through already. LOL. I might consider just changing the cut and color. I think that would work. :)

Curls will do. Straight too. It is still up to you as long as you know how to carry yourself and still looks good.

I know right? :) Any style would look fabulous as long as you know to carry it. I might just ask the experts at the salon to help me decide. wink*

Why don't you just try a new hair style? You can find something that is in style now and looks great on you too.
You can also dye your hair, that will be a change. But I don't recommend that because it is not good for your hair.I am not a fan of the too much straightening and curling too because it can damage your hair too but if it is your thing that's ok.
Just make sure you take good care for your hair and you use products that protect it.
Happy holidays! :)

I do try to check the quality of the products use as much as possible before I use it :) But it's still not a guarantee since our hair is different form one another and reactions may vary. But for my hair, I've used a lot of products already so it's not in it's best shape. :( Just giving it time to grow out those damage hair would be best I guess. :)

I can see that your hair have gone through a lot of damaging chemicals.
At this point, it would be better if you would buy a nice hair treatment and apply it to your hair religiously. Once it is healthy looking again, you can have it styled to what suits your face.
But don't let it be touched for at least a year , with curling irons or hair straighteners anymore. Just let it grow healthily again.
