Lazy student...a waste of money and time

I know certainly a person who doesn't take his studies seriously. He was like the type who doesn't study for quiz or major exam, doesn't read his books and most importantly will not wake up early and be ready for school. Totally lazy! Well, can you expect this student to really pass? Parents work hard to send their children to school. And a lot of children didn't appreciate it. Failing in school is like spending money in the air. What can you say? Does this type of student worth another chance or should be sent our of school and thought how to work?
