i want to earn more money

Are you a Korean National? I think, if you are a Korean and you leave in Korea then your major in College is Korean, yes it would be difficult to find work there. Who would need it anyway? The demand is less because a lot of people are good at it. But if you live in the Philippines where there are many Korean Community especially here in my place, I guess it is a plus factor that you know their language. They need it to interpret what they want to say or write. They would prefer to have an Executive Assistant that is good with their language. My sister in law is a High School teacher with Major in Filipino. She easily landed on a private school here and thought that she would retire on the same school. But unfortunately, things don't go well with her and the Principal so she resign from work. After 1 year of applying for a job and remain jobless, she was looking forward of trying her luck abroad. Lots of her colleagues had applied abroad and find work. But not the same with her, because of there is no demand for a Filipino Major abroad. Fortunately, she was called by the public school near our place and now she is enjoying a higher salary and a new environment. I guess that is what's happening with you and I am hoping you'll find something better in the future. And how about an online Korean Translation job? I think I've seen something like this in the net. Mylot is the right place to earn money if money making online become your focus now. I knew that everyone wants to earn money even if they have a stable income. I really understood you're envy with your friend because she is easy to find a job. I think you don't need to worry about getting a job. You still have a lot of chances to look for a job in line with your subject or if you are not sure about your skill, you'd be better to take a short course and get the certificate for mastering your Korean language. Well when you pick something to study you first look if its profitable not if it sounds good on tv . I want to learn japanese too but i'm not because i will not have any use of it , and only because i watch animes that can be english subbed or dubbed :) But well your major might not be at fault , as i hear you just picked something random and sucky without really going in to details . I studied programing because this is what is in the marked everywhere . About the money well everyone have their needs , its good i'm not a girl because i spend like 10$ per month or less for myself and thats mostly to pay my internet :D

Honey,lupeng,I suppose it's not like that what you've been thought about your life.As your major is korean,so i believe you've been enjoy learning it as well.I don't think that english is such a big advantage as your english is also ok.Since you could post here and express what your real thoughts.Remember that there is a saying in our country:“Skill is no burden",so there is definitely lots of chances out there waiting for you,it's just time matters.Do not be upset,you are a lucky girl and there would be definitely someday for you to show your ability.It seems that now Your worry is just so unnecessary,,it's their harding working paid off since you saw their little success.So just work hard and happy mylotting.lol
