Who will be selected as replacement for Praveen Kumar for Australia?

We all know that Indian will touring Australia from December to Feb for 4 test,2 T 29 and tri-seried one day.India have announced their team for test which included medium pacer Praveen Kumar.But he has pulled out due to injury.SO replacement fotr him will be announced on Dec 5.Who do you think will replace him??
It isnotgoing to be Sreesanth or Munaf Patel because they already have injury.It is not going to Nehra also becuase he don't have a central contaract at all.
So in all probalities it is going to ba any one between Mithun.Vinay Kumar,Irfan Pathan or any other young bowler.Whom will you prefer??

I think Irfan Pathan might get the call to replace Praveen Kumar. If so, he gets one more chance to revive his career at the exact place where he announced his arrival on the international scene. I am not sure if Vinay Kumar or Abhimanyu Mithun would be good replacements.

Personally I prefer Irfan Pathan to be selected for the Australia tour. He had proved him self in the past and now he is proving again by taking 21 wickets in 4 matches with 3 five wickets. It's not easy to take 5 wickets in consecutive matches. So he would work wonder in the Australian pitches. But again this is my preference. But looking at the current scenario i think the board will prefer Vinay kumar. He was already selected for the one day series and he had proved his place. So he might also get a chance to play in the test squad.

yes irfan pathan is not a bad idea he is great all rounder i think he also get a chance to play for india .and he have many experienced player and can take advantage of it in australia yet his speed is slow but he is perfectly know how to break partnerships.

You are right ...Irfan is in great form in Ranji..so it is the right time for him to get selected for the team..

I think India will have Irfan pathan as substution for praveen. Now a days Irfan is in great form. He really turns into a good baller as well as a good batsmen. Most probably Irfan has the ability to swing the balls much from batsmen on both the direction .

Ya irfan has an edge over others becuase he has more experience than others and also his ability to bat.

Alright it's official....Mithun has selcted as replacement for Praveen Kumar...and also Irfan makes his comeback....He has been selcted for the final 2 ODIs between Inda and West Idnes...

i think i gave chance to vinay kumar .he is a youngster and a great player and now a days he also bowl well so i think vinay kumar can get a chance in the series against australia .and he also some ability to bat so i think vinay kumar is fit for that place and great replacement of parveen kumar.

Ta your point is right.But he bowls well in T20 and ODI but he has to prove himself in Test cricket if he is given a chance.

yes deepak if ashwin will get chance then why not vinay will get chance and he can bowl with great speed and pitches in australia is good in bounce and that is why vinay sharma take advantage of these kind of pitches and prove helpful for indian cricket team.
