Never heard of a 99 cent store but the dollar tree is the bomb

we have a local versio here - the stuff are good.

We don't have 99 cent stores in Australia,the closest we come to a store like that is Not Quite Right or Aldi...they are cheap but not 99 cents.Wow,I wish we had them here!

When I was in college this was the greatest thing since sliced bread. I was able to get bath soap, dish soap, shampoo, toothpaste and other necessities for a low low price. I like lived there when I needed stuff lol.

we dont have a 99 cent store, but we have a dollar tree, but it sounds like we need a 99 cent store, everything at the dollar tree is $1 and some stuff I will go there to get, and some stuff I wont. They have cute what-nots, and candles, candle holders and such, and sometimes Ill buy gift bags there depending on how big i need it, sometimes I can get the cheaper at walmart or kmart, i usually only buy the medium sized to large and xxlarge gift bags there because walmart/kmart/target wants to charge $4 & $5 for those things. But I don't buy food and stuff there, it doesn't have name brand stuff and Ive never even heard of the brands they carry, I just don't want to risk it, but I do buy some foods at the dollar general, but its more or less like a mini walmart.

I love the Dollar Store. I don't know of any 99 cent stores around here! LOL But, the thing that bothers me about the Dollar Store is it isn't really a dollar. It may be 99 cents or a dollar...but after tax it is more than a dollar!!!

I love 99 cent stores. Most of the times they have the samething you can buy at Walmart for 99 cent. They are geat, especially when you have no money. You can rake together some pennies and go buy you something.

Same here. I buy snacks and sodas there, mostly. I also get my toothpaste and other tolietries there. I say, why spend more money than you have to!

Those stores are great around the holiday season if you already spent a lot of money on gifts and want some cheap bags and space-fillers to make your gift look nicer. It's also a great place to get stuff to fill those fun-bags for birthday parties, etc. Cheap utensils as well.

I love that king of store also, I buy many things from there. My hai supplies, pencils markers, alot of school supples!

We don't have 99Cent stores where I live but we have dollar stores. I LOVE them!! I buy as much as I can from there.

I have only gone a couple of times. I needed cheap table clothes to hang in the basement during our Halloween party. I can never find to much in there.
