Hey, the fast food restaurant gear up to offer better and economic price for our average eaters, that is a pretty good news at least we don't have to face the rising price concern on those raw materials. As you know, the $5 foot - long sandwich from Subway previously was a success I guess, and I least order that from subway from time to time. Now, with a 6 - inch sandwich less than half of that price, that is a bargain. I would definitely go visit subway during the lunch time.

This deal has been one of my favorites offered from the fast food industry. As many others have mentioned, you can't possibly make a 6 inch sandwich at home with your own ingredients for such a price. Even though the choices are limited, it is nice that you can actually get two 6 inch subs of different flavors for the same price as a footlong of one flavor. I have heard from friends though that this depends on your local subway, and that some subways restrict customers to ordering one six inch for $2. That's the bad thing about franchises - when a company offers a deal, individual owners can still ignore it or choose to set their own standard. Overall though, I think this is an excellent deal and it gives me all the more reason to go to Subway (although I love going there anyway haha).

That is a really good deal. I appreciated the whole $5 foot long price. I used to share a foot long with my youngest and we would do half of the ingredients he liked on one side and half on the other side for me, with the 6 inch only being $2.00 we can each just get our own sandwich now for less. The rest of the family all eat foot longs so we will still go for the $5 foot longs for them. $2.00 seems so low though I wonder how Subway can make a good profit with that low of a price.

They're $2 only in the month of December and I believe that there are only two sandwiches, the meatball sub and the cold cut that are $2. We LOVE Subway and I can't make a sandwich at home for $2. We'll be frequenting Subway a lot in December.

I agree when they went down on the prices I really anticipated my favorite sub, chicken and bacon ranch, becoming the sub of the month. These sandwiches are so cheap and with all of that bread it can really keep you full for a while. They must really be making a profit off of the customers they have coming in now. It is more affordable and is marketing itself for the condition that the economy is in right now.
