I went to the doctor last week and with happiness I can say
I lost 4 pounds.. for the last 2 years my doctor have been
have been on my back about losing weight..Everytime I go he
mentions weight watchers to me and I just give him the yeah
yeah yeah.. I am really not a big eater and I don't eat bread
not a rice eater..Now I know I don't alway eat the proper
meals as I should but I eat what I want when I want..I know
you are saying just like him "Thats the problem"...But you
know what other than my bad back which is cause by degenerated
disk and herniated disk and my bad neck which was injured when
i fell out of my bed on my neck.. I am fine, no problems with
high blood pressure, nor sugar, nor cholesterol...thats something
to be grateful for and I AM!!!!!
I don't believe in diets..not a one of them regardless who they
work on or who's they are. Don't do them...
Do you diet and why and hows that working for ya?

I try to diet but when I do it only last for about two days. Also I found myself stressing over not losing any weight that I was actually gaining weight and preventing myself from losing it. I went to the doctor about a month ago and I weighed in at 226. I just went again earlier this morning and I am now 222. I feel good about it. I realize that if I try not to concentrate on it too hard then it will happen. Congrats on the 4 pounds also.

I do not diet. I do try to eat healthy. I like vegetables and fruit. I do eat bread--often homemade. I do not eat pasta. I eat brown rice. I will not get on the scales right now because of Thanksgiving and the candy in my refrigerator. I do try to get some exercise on a regular basis.

Weight Watchers isnt a diet Its supposed to be a lifestyle change. One that you pay attention to eating proper foods and getting the proper amount of exercise. Its something one is able to follow all their life. Many Diets are actually bad for people...not something you can follow for a long term and still stay healthy.
I have followed weight watchers - to a point. I take their advice and combine it with what i know i can and cant eat, due to a genetic disorder and allergies.
I choose foods that dont cause me problems to eat.

when i was skinny back then, eating anything was my hobby. there was no problem with gaining weight as i had a very fast metabolism.
these few years though i have gained weight rapidly and my tummy's getting bigger and bigger. i had 2 blood tests with high cholesterol results.
so to answer your question, i am considering dieting. i am trying to stay away from meats, incorporating fruits and veggies in my diet. it is hard. no wonder it's hard for bigger people to lose weight. the discipline and persistence needed is hard to acquire.
i don't know the results yet, but pray ill keep on this healthy living for as long as i can until i get my old healthy body back.

Cheers for being able to reduce your weight^^ And cheers again as you have no health problems even though you may be overweight. Most people tends to have health problems if they are too overweight. Of course, some part of it is caused by genetics.
I don't go diet. I eat whatever I feel like eating and I never go fat, Maybe up and down for 1 to 3 kilos but it will still go back to where it was =D
