Hi All!
I had started investing domains about a month back. I bought 12 domains for about $ 200. I just sold 3 of them - one of them sold for $ 170.0 , other two for $ 35 and $ 17. So, I have already made up for the investment. Moreover, I have made $ 16 from their parking till date :)
I just hope I am able to sell the remaining ones soon ! Just wanted to share this as my first post at mylot.
Do anyone here do domain trading?

it was a short 4 letter .com domain, a buyer liked it as he found it brand able, so he bought it for 170 dollars. i generally don't like to reveal the name in open as buyers might not like it, can message you though :)

You have to pay about $ 10.0 per year fees to buy a .com domain. There are other types of domains that can be bought for more and less as per negotiations. The trick is to find the right domain and right buyer for it. Once you expertise this, you can make a decent overall profit from their sales :)

Hello domainator, welcome to mylot. You have a very nice idea of making money. Can you tell me from where do you buy the domains and where do you sell them, also how much you have to promote your buyed domain to get a nice profit from it.

Hey domainator. Just out of curiosity, why would someone like to buy a domain for such a high price. I am going to join a domain trading forum today and know more. I just wanted to know more from you. There is this one more post like this one. Do you do the same? I mean increase traffic to the domain and then sell it?

Premium domains are sold for thousands. They have a price for their SEO value. Earn.com recent got sold in muluti million, so you see there is lot of scope in this field :)

Hello domainator, you really have a nice investment regarding domains. And you seem to be an expert trader. But I really don't know what is domain and how it could affect my life. Can you please tell me, cause I really wanted to learn things about domains.

I am new in this biz as well! It requires lots of research. Domain means the name of the website - like mylot.com is a domain name for mylot.
It is a trading business which is working nice for me ATM :)

The domain name (keywords in it) should be related to the subject of the site. Godaddy offers .info domains at 99 cents on sale. Check it out, the sale might be on :)
