What is your best black and white movie ?

I had seen a movie but i can't remember it's name .. it was about a rich man who fell in love with a maid girls .. but he told her that he was a butler in another house .. i think that this film was made in Switzerland before the second world war .. i can't remember even who was the star in this film but i remember that it was a comedian movie.
so what's your best black and white movie ?

I can think of many awesome movies that were made in blacl and white. Some of Charles Chapin´s movies are on my list. Another one I love and have seen many times is Casablanca. But I could not say which one is the best as it depends on my mood.

my favourite black and white film is a very old one, called the Secret Garden, the very first version, it actually turns into colour near the end of the film when the little girl opens up the gates to the garden she brought back to life, it is a beautiful movie.
