$5 minimum payout for mylot

MyLot exists to promote good quality discussion not to make it easy to earn small amounts by doing nothing very much. If your participation on the site is of high quality, it is quite easy to earn the minimum payout of $10 each and every month, as many people will testify. There is absolutely no reason why MyLot should reduce their minimum payout and therefore, inevitably, the general quality of participation.

Maybe because, like what you said, many would be able to reach payout fast if they lower it to $5 and that would mean the site would incur so much cost per month if almost all of the members are requesting for payout. And with a lot of costs, they could not use a lot of money for investment purposes or whatever ways they do to make it grow. That is the reason I suppose.

I think that really five dollars is too low of a payout. I tend to make about five dollars in less than half of a month and anyone who can apply themselves can just as easily make that if not more and can most certainly make the ten dollars before the end of the month. If you are really hear to earn, then all it will take is proper time management skills. There is a very simple way to get to ten dollars. Granted, it took me months to figure it out, but I think that I have got it down to pretty much of a science. I think that there is a pretty good reason why it is at ten dollars. For those who can make that much money in a month, it is a reward for their participation. For those who do not, well better luck next month and that's money that myLot doesn't have to pay out. Obviously it makes economic sense for myLot to do this.

Friend payment on 5 dollar is less I think 10 dollar is good and sufficient for monthly payment. Some people earn 5 dollar in a week but I cant earn 10 dollar in month but in two month I can earn 10 dollar.

I reset my minimum payout to 25.00 in order to challenge myself each month. For those looking for a quick five dollars each month, mylot is not the answer. At 25 a month that guarantees me three hundred minimum a year from here. And, if I find I am able to make well over that amount each month than I will reset my minimum to fifty. I might not be able to reach that every month, but it will be a challenge and encourage me to keep going. In the month of December my total was just about 19.00. Added to what I got in November when I first started and was new, I will be getting 26.66 in January's cash out. Doesn't that sound better than five dollars?

After play online earn for lots of year, I am not happy with those so call no-min website. Hence, if mylot really pay, i do not mind the payout is 10 or 20. But 50 is not acceptable :)

for lack of manpower perhaps.i can imagine just how much work is needed to process the thousands of 5 dollar payouts.there are bound to be kinks ,pay not received,or etc.emails back and forth to handle the queries in the thousands,all about getting paid by my lot or not getting the money etc.. and on and on..maybe thats the reason the staff at mylot came up with the minimum 10 dollar payout,less workload.

i think management of mylot has their own reason why this not become minimum cashout there. like what you say, if it just 5$, there is many member would get payment every month and it would make admin dizzy to send payment.

It is not correct if the minimum is $ 5 really people will be able to make profit every month but are $ 5 less. but it will be nice to have a profit every month. but we should not confuse the work of administrators. nice day!

I'm sure mylot has their reasons, but I guess on my opinion if they want the users to work hard for payout, $10 payout would be very reasonable. because, let's say the payout will be $5 and they will give more rules on the earning patterns, like, they require you a minimum of 50 words for a value of $0.01, then it would not be so fun because you have a big requirement to earn such little amount. The situation which mylot has now, which i prefer, is that the requirements are not difficult for us to earn, and the possibilities for us to earn is fast pace. so the minimum of $10 dollars is not really a bad idea for me :) happy mylotting
