I'm looking for a good free app for a battery booster/saver, but I am willing to pay a small price for a good app. I just got a curve blackberry and the battery lasts a day and a half on average. I know that the batter life sucks on this model, but it does suit my vision needs and I did get this for free (in-store special) with my contract renewing. I'm researching and reading reviews on appworld, but still would like some real live opinions :-p Thanks :-)

I've had those apps and I have no idea if they really worked. If your battery is lasting that long that is already a lot better than most people's batteries.. Mine lasts like 8 hours. You're probably better off just buying a spare battery to switch out if you can't charge it.

My flip pearl battery lasted 4 days at first then it went down to 2 days last going off, and I had the same battery for 2 and a half years. I really wish I knew how the batteries worked.

Hmm that is still pretty good. Batteries don`t last forever. Think of your standard AA rechargeable battery.. You can charge it hundreds maybe even a thousand times, but eventually it`s just not going to hold a charge, or not be as strong as it used to be. Same thing happens to Blackberry batteries. Mine used to last longer as well now it doesn`t. So I have 2 batteries.

I havent been able to find one for my BB torch so far that actually works. Would love to find one. It drains the battery alot - i charge mine everynight but then again i also tend to talk on it alot with my boyfriend.

I know there's paid versions, and I'm willing to consider them. But I don't want to get some useless piece of crap either. My Blackberry flip pearl went for 4 days at first without needing a recharge, then after 2 and a half year it's become charging every 2 days (original battery). At least I got an extended warrentee for up to 2 years when I can get a battery if needed before my 3 year contract runs out.

My cousin uses have Blackberry phone i don't know its model number and all. when I had asked him about the life of battery he said it is not bad. Then why the problem with your phone ? Which is your model number ? may be my cousin uses his mobile less. I think that is the battery remains for days. Am I right ?

It's a 8360 curve, a lower-end model, but I got it free with a 3 year contract. It's better than my flip pearl, but the battery sucks. I know reviews mentioned the same thing as well.
