All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth

So my two daughters 11 and 6 years old were in bed the other night playing as usual, not going to bed like they were supposed to. And all of the sudden my 6 year old is screaming bloody murder like someone just ripped her arm off. I come running in to see a mouth full of blood. Thought my older daughter accidentally socked her in the mouth. But when I lifted her lift to check her teeth, the top two are gone, ya GONE! I go OMG her teeth are gone, my older daughter starts going what OMG what, and balling worst than the younger one. Husband came running in to calm us all down and see what happened. Turns out she had a ribbon in her mouth, the thick kind that come around new wash rags, and her sister pulled it hard, not knowing it was in her mouth. So her sis pulled a dentist move on her, ripped both her top two teeth clean out. We took her to the dentist the next day and they said that they came out perfect, just in time for the other teeth coming in, nothing to worry about. Has an accident happened to your kids with something you thought was harmless? a ribbon, that was just laying around, I never thought it could do this. Very odd way for her front two teeth to come out and right in time for Christmas too.

What a way for big siss to say I love you right. There is nothing like a kids being kids. Except for some grownups that haven't grown up yet. lol. But whichever the case. Thank god those teeth were going to come out anyways :)

Yes I am very thankful it wasn't any of her adult teeth. But it sure was traumatizing at first.

We've never had anything like this happen at our house, thank goodness. I do, however, remember as clearly as if it was yesterday the day that my daughter lost her first and second teeth, just in time for Christmas just like your daughter.
She lost the first tooth on December 17 when we were at K-Mart finishing up our Christmas shopping. She lost the second tooth on the way home from visiting with my family on Christmas Eve in Cincinnati. She was only a little bit over five years old at the time.

Wow. That is something else. I have not had my kids have an accident even remotely like this. Are you playing the song for your daughter? I am sure that the older one sure feels bad. I am completely shocked by this. I hope the tooth fairy left her something good. Good luck with your daughters and I hope nothing like this happens again.
