Today there are many toys which use 5AA battery. And the battery can run out soon. The battery can be a big cost. I wonder why the toys don't adopt the batteries like the cellphone batteries. It may last longer time. Especially if you are playing the remote control cars.

Youless, i always prefer to buy toy car or airplane that have rechargeable batteries. So, it is more durable and i don't need to spend money, keep buying batteries for the toy. Rechargeable batteries able to recharge and recharge again up to nearly a year before it is finally unable to keep the battery charge. Only at that time, you will need to buy another new set of rechargeable batteries again. I like using them a lot and almost everything in my home are using this type of rechargeable batteries now.

Hi Youless, thanks for giving me the Best Response. After i calculated and compared the prices of different types of batteries, i still prefer to buy more on rechargeable batteries. Because i just need to change my set of rechargeable batteries only once a year. Where else, i will need to buy a few bundle of batteries every month, if i was to use the ordinary type of batteries for my son's toy car.

Hi!
Well, that is a good idea, but since they have to control the cost, if they are going to use cellphone type of batteries, the cost of the remote control car will definitely double up. But if the buyer do not mind about the price, then I think they should consider using such a batteries.

True, many toys do have 5AA batteries. But there are toys that also have their own special battery (adopted). I think the reason behind the ones that don't adopt a battery is because the company made it that way, because it cost them less money to do so.
