Again, Liverpool seems never be able to beat bad luck even has many chances and they proved beaten Chelsea and also strongly held all big club but when it comes to play against second tier team they lost again. Understand they lost after played with only 10 men, after Jay separing being sent off and Dempsey able to score on last 10 minutes of the game due to error from Reyna..What do you think about Liverpool performance so far? Seems so hard even to climb up to the big four if they still unstable like this.

Liverpool's predicament is a very strange one. Here are two stats about LFC this season that are worth mentioning-
1. Liverpool has the best defensive record in this league.
2. They have dominated City and UTD at Anfield, got a point each, and also defeated Chelsea at the Bridge.
These 2 indivdual points by themselves are the signs of a very good football teams. But their problem this year , as has been in the last 2-3 seasons, is their inability to finsih of weaker teams. You don expect real title contenders to draw at home to the likes of Swansea and Norwich and lose at Craven Cottage. They also have been wasteful in front of goal as in the game against Norwich where I remember Suarez creating a host of chances, but a combination of bad luck and poor finishing let them down.
My Verdict is that LFC seem to do well when they are potrayed as underdogs for a game but are not able to kill of the easier teams. As long as this happens they still will be in the batlle for 5-6-7. But I still believe they will come back stronger after this defeat and do well under Kenny.

Well, you have good points..Liverpool must able to fix their problem of consistency and creativity in front of opponents goal, otherwise really difficult for them to compete for the title. I have read King Kenny said many option for attackers make him confuse who suppose to play. Player like Bellamy is actually perform well when they successfully crushed Chelsea at their home.

I dont think creativity is a great prob as Suarez handles it pretty wwll, But sure consistency is a huge factor. I again agree with the Bellamy point becos whenever I have seen him play this season he has done well. King Kenny should surely give him better chances. He also should realise that Henderson is no good in the right of midfield but play him more as an attacking midfielder, a role he played well against Chelsea..

The commentators had a field day there. Jay Spearing spearing into the player to be sent off!! But it was a bad defeat for Liverpool and this underlines their up and down season this year. I think this result and the list of draws they have had at home is really going to hurt them at the end of the season.
Cheers!
