Choosing to unpack emotional baggage is similar to cleaning out a suitcase after a trip. With emotional baggage, begin by throwing away and taking steps to forgive those who hurt you. With your personal dirty laundry, apologize or make necessary amends to those you've wronged. That includes apologizing to God and learning to forgive yourself. -Anonymous-
i hope we all could share and have fun here....
thank you in advance

Hello zelmarq, that is a very insightful thought But I guess in reality it is not as easy as that Emotional baggage are once part of our life so in as much as we want to throw them away, it is not an easy thing to do. It is quite hard to let go of something that has been a part of you even if that part hurts you. Oh well, it takes time to unload but at the end, I believe that the baggage will be free of those unnecessary emotions. Little by little. One at a time.
Good day!

There are two ways to handle it. One, you can choose to see beauty in life and everything around. You can choose to be positive and happy by changing your perceptions and attitude to life. This is simpler.
Second to resolve and empty your deep seated emotions, you would have to look deep within and work on past issues. Not always easy and takes time and patience. With increased awareness and healing that comes out of it, your life would change for better.
Sure, faith in God and in yourself and having forgiving mindset definitely helps. Have good day, Cheers!

I love the word! Emotional baggage. I hope that all people would carry that kind of baggage. With that baggage, we say people forgive those who have hurt them and say sorry too. In times of Christmas, let us remember to have this emotional baggage thingy and let us start to forgive people.

Emotional Baggage can truly drain ones energy, and get in the way of progressing forward with other things in your life. It is best to deal with your emotional baggage quickly instead of avoiding it because if you don't you will end up going through a lot of drama. when drama begins it seems to have a way of taking over, and making other things in your life go haywire as well.
