CDJ or Turntable?

i've been DJing using a pair of turntable for 2 years now and i can say i'm very comfortable using it. One night i was invited to DJ in my friend's club and i was surprised that they are using CDJs there. I found CDJs are easy to use and really tricky as well, music from a laptop can be played when connected to it and compact CDs can be inserted to it and be played as well. The good thing about a CDJ compared to turntable is the ability to apply effects on to music with a push of a button. After using one, i've been into a thinking that i'll use a pair of CDJ but a sudden change of partner will cause me confusion. Can anyone give me advice of which is better? a turntable? or a CDJ?
