My personal Choices

A lot of people keep telling me that I'm too narrow minded when it comes to music, for example, one of them (My friends) will suggest a Genre and I will automatically say "I dont like that music" because I personally feel I have tried the genre out and dont find it appealing at all.
Am I being shallow or is it MY choice as to what music I listen to?

everyone is entitled to drop by his own thinking.
personal choices.
I think one can not tell you that you are narrow.
Everyone has the right to choose their music, I like different music maybe any.

I just connot disagree with you .Everyone is its own God!
Music for me is like a friend which give me courage and keep me from depression.
But I hate to listening popular musics ,which make my firends feel me a preson who is a rare bird.Because we ,the mortal ,have to live in the secular world which is filled with ordinary people who are usually have no taste to the really beauty and sound which come from the heaven and we must appreciate it with the heart not the ear.
Although we should persist in both our own thought and chance ,there is an evident problem: how we get along with our firends who have the oppsite opinioon.
It is universelly acknowledged that get along with people who have a difinitely different outlook of world from us is an important aspect of life in this wicked world .But we have to face it .So maybe you have some suggestion
to us.May you a good day!

I like most genres, problem is there is one that is popular that I absolutely can't stand and it can become a problem because of it popularity, but oh well, I don't like it..I think if you only have one or two you like, that's okay..
