I just reconnected to the internet around 3 or 4 hours ago from the time i made this, and i would say. those 12 hours was so hard to consumed, actually i was suppose to sleep already but when i noticed that the net was back again i had to check first my mylot earnings, and to my surprise i did well.
well anyway, the thing i wanted to talk about is....
It's time for your regular use of the computer and...
for some reason you couldn't get access to use the internet, what would you do? wait patiently for it to be accessible again? or you would do something else? and what would this be?
Me? i waited patiently... and now i'm too tired.
maybe i'll sleep for now.
reply to your responses when i wake up,
enjoy :)

I can certainly understand how annoying it can be, being without internet. I can relate, as I have been in that situation myself. Honestly, I would simply try to do something to keep my mind off not having internet. It has helped for me, in the past, whenever I found myself without internet.

Life without the Internet can be frustrating. At one time, in the early days of the Internet, it was only a rather minor annoyance. However there are a lot of times where I think that many of us have grown dependent on the Internet. For work, for school, for just to really keep up with everything in the world. There are times that without the Internet we would be sunk.
I think that I would find things to occupy my time but I would be distracted and frustrating. We are getting to the point where we cannot afford the Internet to be down for long. Yet technology is a horrific thing as when it fails, it can fail in a rather big and prominent way to say the very least. If I needed to do something, I'd rather bang my head against a wall.

I wouldn't want to go as far as banging my head against the wall
but....
i guess i have become very dependent to the internet this pass few days, because starting last november, it was my vacation, and i have nothing to do but Rest and relax, occasionally go out with friends but, now they still have work, and i'm the only one who has a very long vacation ahead and with my computer and the internet, during my free time, i surf the net, and like right know have some fun here in mylot. and like what happened, i waited patiently only to find out that it has been 12 hours and still no internet, and when i was about to sleep, boom it connected already. very frustrating indeed.

Are you not familiar that cellphones have free internet like free facebook access? I'm hooked to mobile browsing and could have saved tons of internet load if I learned earlier. The limitation is only facebook can be visited. As I have heard, facebook is free for smart and globe users even without load. I enjoyed the day without the computer for days.

hahaha of course I am completely aware of free internet access through cellphones, but if my android phone is down, and I use a cellphone that can't access gps wouldn't that make sense?
Well long story about my cellphone...
but when It was still ok I would use my phone often specially when I am out of the house. but if I have a laptop with me, or I'm at home I would rather use a laptop when surfing the web.

I understand perfectly, even for me it would be a problem go too long without internet. If this thing were to happen to me, I'll probably spend time in bed or away from home

I'm on the internet just about every day. I sometimes take an 'internet vacation' just to make sure that I'm not getting addicted. I'll just read a good book or watch anime or a movie. So I wouldn't have a problem with 12 hours of no internet access. On the other hand, I don't think I'd like it if something was wrong with my connection, but that would be because I don't like paying for a service that isn't working.

I myself wouldn't want to pay a service that I cannot benefit from. and I guess an internet vacation would be nice. I believe me and my family will have an outing at the beach for a couple of days and I think that would be my best time for me to have that internet vacation.
