I have never bet money on any team, nor do I have any plans to do this in the future. However, when I was nine years old, I used to root for Michael Schumacher in Formula One all because I thought he drove the prettiest car (which at the time was the yellow Benetton)! This was before he'd even won his first race for F1, let alone his first (of seven!) world championships! Of course, his comeback hasn't been nearly as successful as expected, but that's a different story. Nonetheless I still to this day marvel at how great Schumacher became in his heyday despite my total lack of F1 knowledge and superficial rooting criteria and sometimes wish I could have bet money!
