some people consider writing private emotions in black and white is just too risky. this could create more havoc to a present shaky situation. it's just the same with saying scathing words right in front of the opponent. well, id say that i prefer electronic diary.i mean jotting down notes in the MS word and protect them with a password that no one knows. i started exhausting my feelings especially some of my frustrations and dreams through writing during my high school days. in fact before i got married, i have 18 book diaries and all of them have locks and keys. that's when i began seeing the value of personal journals in enhancing my personal growth and learning and de stressing too.do you have the same experience with mine?

I have kept diaries and blogs since I was around 8, and I don't think that this is something that I am going to change any time soon. I love writing down what I'm feeling, because it helps me to sort things out in my own head. In addition to this, I like to read back over my old diaries and look back at the things that I have managed to overcome that I might never have thought that I would be able to in the past. The thought that I have come through all this stuff is wonderful because it gives me hope that I will be able to carry on being this strong in the future.

making diaries can help you to clarify your goals and will allow you to write about your achievements as well as your ideas. This allows you to see the steps that you have taken towards your goal and will allow you to see where you stand as well as how much further you have to go to complete your goals. Your goals may be simple tasks in life or they may be life goals that will take more time to achieve. Whatever goals you set for yourself, be sure that they are attainable and easily documented in your diaries.

WoW! I'm amazed. U have 18 book diaries? haha.. I'm impressed!
Hmm... I would like to ask some questions if you dont mind. What's your main reason why you wrote 18 book diaries? Do you have some friend whom you can talk to? or share something that you felt. Or a bestfriend, buddy, sponge bob.. :)
It's good to write in a piece of paper to express your emotion but talking to someone who answer back is more relieving. I guess u need to look for someone to talk to. Or if you want i can be one.. :) i dont have that experienced in life but i sure do can help you in a way or two..
You can find comfort to from someone. Try to mingle with your friends! Smile always.
God speed!

sometimes strongholds can be broken and not to mention friends. i have the so called friends but none of them can really stood by me since they have their own problems too.worst than mine. i am just living by faith that life's like that and that we can't just rely on somebody even your own husband or some sort of bestfriend. the best thing that i can do is jot down my emotions.there were dates that i can ponder and i just laughed at them after any sad or bad event.at least i learned some lessons.

I think before you write a speak of your feelings to the public in the form of diary, you must assure the safety of your job. I have heard that today the employers before assuming an employee check your social profile in the internet. So one should take care.

As a kid I wanted a diary.. finally I got one but I did not know what to write in it.. the truth was not possible (violent parents). So I never used it.
Later as I had kids I wrote a diary for each of them about my thoughts our live. Why? because I wanted them to know me, the real me if something would happen to me. Not the me according to other people. They all have their diaries now themselves. Only for the youngest two I did not do that (once I started but on the computer).
I make photoalbums for them and add text/info to it also some of the drawings etc they made. I think they are smart enough to see by these pictures and text who I am or was. For the rest I don't feel the need to share my thoughts/feelings with paper.

Wow, 18 diaries? I have a messy diary that contains nonsense stuff, because it was required for us to make one in high school. And after HS I stopped but when I feel stressed out or angry over something or someone, I jot down my emotions. But threw it away also. Sometimes I type in MS Word and put a password too. But lately I have not been doing that. Normally I try to just forget the emotions I have. But I agree with you that writing the emotions we have really helps us relieve our stress and can as well enhance our being.

hello mylene.i hope you'll allow me to call you that. i noticed that you have scrambled letters of your name here.it's just a guess though.well, i thanked my teacher for letting us dis that way long time ago. at least just by doing that help ease some of my pains away.though they're just temporary, i have de stressed my way out and was able to think rationally.words should not be said orally.the more you utter them the more mistakes one can make and hurt some people.in the end you will have regrets. thanks for dropping by.

Taking notes of an emotion is so High School. I don't mean you but it's just a waste of time. Just deal with it! Talk to the person or avoid doing the same things again. Funny it sees, it's like keeping a diary every day. I once write a diary or journal of my life everyday but then I stopped it since I'm too lazy to write all the stuffs that I read everyday. I still have the diaries with me and I would just laugh sometimes of the things that I do and laugh on how I construct a sentence.
