Songs to the Highest Note

I was a fan of Mariah Carey when I was still young. My father influenced me to like since she got me a lot of Mariah Carey DVDs. Then, I would imitate how she sings the song. I consider myself who also got the gift of singing because I've been a choir member, tenor, and I was also a band vocalist. Actually, it runs in the family. We all have the gift. Anyhow, I learned all her songs at an early age and I also sing her songs really well. My favorite Mariah Carey song is I Still Believe. It's like a song that has a lot of emotion. I also like My All, it's giving your everything to someone you love. I don't care what people say about me, I don't have a super female voice but sometimes I'm fond of imitating her style when she's singing. Her Always be my Baby will always be the best and the original.

Hi there! I love the way you tell things about my idol. I grew up with her songs since my dad liked her so much. When she comes back from work, he always bring all sort of Mariah Carey's CD's and DVD's. I learned all her songs in an early age. Thanks!

One thing that attracts me to Mariah Carey is her ability to "whistle". I mean the part when she sings to a very high note that not alot of singers can do. like in the song always be my baby :) just hearing her do the whistle would always make the hair at the back of my neck stand have a good day

Hi there! That is so true. Been practicing on how to do the whistle before but I really can't/ Even my voice instruction can't let me to do so we tried a different voice style. I like all songs of Mariah Carey and especially the way she sings. Thanks!

yes she has really mastered the art of whistling. it's a really rare gift. only few singers can do that. and the way mariah does it is just out of this world.

you have great musical background. i think some of her greatest songs are in buttefly. there's this song "outside" and it really hits your soul. "always be my baby" is one of my favorite songs of her. it's a fun song though the story is about a broken heart.
