Sehwag scored an amazing double hundred an now the Worlds Top scorer in ODI Cricket.
Sehwag scored 219 of 149 balls which includes 7 sixes and 25 fours with a strike rate of 146.97.
Sehwag is the Second player in the World to get an ODI Two hundred after Sachin.
Viru smashed the WI bowlers all around the ground superbly.
It is the High score by an India as a captain also.
With the help of viru's double century, India reached their highest team total in ODI 418/5.
India is the only team scored 400+ runs four times in world cricket.
So its a very happy day for Indian cricket fans.

ya sehwag was really on a joy mood, and windies was helpless.
He got one big life to complete his 200. anyway it was a superb treat to watch.

one more think we should notice ....india's total score is 418,and viru's total is 219.........
u know what....viru has contributed 52.39% of total score!!!!

Viru was terrific today. To score 219 in an ODI is really an amazing feat. To do it and take India to a score of 418 was amazing. I think the match is as good as won. So now the top two ODI scores are by Indian openers.

ya in Australia we can see Two openers with 200 in ODI opening for India,No other nation have this special players.
This match is won when viru got that hundred.
If viru gets a Ton in ODI, that too when India bat first, then India will always win that match.And today Viru made 219, so definitely India has won the match.

wow what a match and sehwag has a great luck and form today he make a wonderful double century today .he scored 219 in only 149 balls .ya very very happy day for me and all the cricket fans and we all hope that this day will come everyday.and yes i am so happy.

Viru can hit double century in all matches ,if he continues there for more than 40 overs.
Today he did it.
And luck also favored him, that catch put down on 170+ was the real luck that made the 200 possible.
I am also very much happy.
And in the commentary Gavaskar was pointing that, senior Indian members like sachin, Laxman and Dravid will not be able to watch this innings because they are in the flight, going for Australia. Anyway we have seen the match live and I am also very very happy.

Hi,
Really an innings worth watching. Viru is the real aggressive batsman who seldom bothers any bowler.
Is this score of 418 the highest of India? I think India scored 450 or so agianst Bermuda in one world cup league match.
