Music really is borderless, and I love how many ways its opened the world to me.
I have one song that I've been listening to rather frequently lately. It's a very rhythmic guitar and drum piece called tsunagaru haruka kanata by a band called toe. It kind of just latches onto my soul when I listen to it.

Haha, it's Japanese, and I have no clue what it means. I just love the music.

My favorite song since childhood has always been "The River" by Garth Brooks, because - long story made short - I believe that is the song that best represents, deep down, my philosophy and approach to life and how all things happen for a reason when you follow your dreams to no end but allow God to be your ultimate God and this will be what ultimately leads you to find your calling, or your purpose, in life. Some people may or may not be turned off by the fact that it is considered "country" (though it doesn't fit the fiddly-banjoy-twangy stereotyope) as well as the Christian overtone, but for me it's been, and always will be, my favorite song of all time by my favorite performer of all time.
Describing the more emotional (as opposed to motivational and philosophical) side of my personality, however, my theme songs include "The Monster's Loose" by Meat Loaf and "Nemo" by Nightwish.

There's the local songs for me: "Your Love" by a band called Alamid, and "Walang Hanggang Paalam (Never Ending Goodbye)" by a singer named Joey Ayala.
And then there's currently, there are the songs from Twilight - It Will Rain by Bruno Mars, and A Thousand Years by Christina Perri.
For the classics, I love Swept Away by Christopher Cross and Speechless by City Boy

Mine is "I knew I love you" by Savage Garden. It brings back the memories of the fist girl I have ever loved. I always feel butterflies in my stomach whenever I hear that song and I am very happy because the memories I've had with that girl will always remain because of that particular song.

My is "Closer to the edge - 30 seconds to mars"
I really love the song, it keeps me high in a way, because when i hear this song, i want to sing along. This song somehow reflects on who i am :)
Songs really are the international language which all of us can understand, it may not be in english, in our native language, or don't have lyrics at all, but all can feel and understand it, all you need is just to close your eyes and feel it :)
have a nice day :)
