Dogs or their owners?

Do you think that there are certain dogs that are more likely to attack or not? Do you think that the owner is responsible for the way the dog acts? I do believe that owners make or break their dogs. I have 5 dogs and they all have different temperments. The one that is most likely to attack is our guard dog. But only if he feels we are in danger, other than that he is a sweetheart. He is a shepherd/husky cross. I also believe that he would do some serious damage to someone if they ever threatened us. So what are your thoughts?

There are certain breeds that genetically are more likely to attack, but I think the onwers play a HUGE role in whether they DO attack or not. A properly socialized, well trained dog is less likely to attack than those who are put on a chain in the yard and promptly forgotten about.
