During which season Can i get Lychee fruit in India

Im so fond of the Lychee's but i don't find it in any fruit shops. I usually taste the fruits in ice cream parlours and juice shops. But I need to buy it. Can someone suggest during which season its available in India.

lychee is available around april to june in india.but it is an extremely shortlived fruit, so is in the market for very short span.it also depends on which area you are.

Ohh thanks for your reply and information. I just luv this fruit but was unable to gather the info. Yes they are short lived fruits.
