My dear fellows, I wish to donate my kidney to someone who needs it.. I'm healthy and young... Am sure my kidney is good enough... Where should I begin? How does it work? What are good and bad points of it?? Do you know??? Please share.. I have good reasons for doing this.. I'm expecting to receive financial help from the one to whom I'll give my organ... I want to get it done ASAP and quick... Could someone please give me some guideline as where to begin and how to do it??? Please...

Hi Mr.Pearl, I honestly do not know how one would go about this exactly. I have it on my licence that should something happen to me that any functioning organs can be donated to anyone that they would help out. I also know that when someone needs a kidney or other vital organ, the first people they look for is family. I think it has to be compatible and there are lists for people needing these things and waiting for donors. I was under the assumption that donating was done for free and hospital costs were covered but I could be very wrong in that. I would start by asking your local clinic. They would have a list of people waiting for donations and could tell you more about it.

Hello Sid.. Thanks a lot for all the info... I'll think over it... I know this thing ain't legal- the sale. And yet, in our country, you know everything can happen... Everything is at stake for 50000 bucks.. I have never been in such a tight spot... God help me!

Thanks a lot Sid.. Your suggestion is valuable... And the search is gonna be tough too... I wish there was a portal or a website, where people who were in need would register their names.. God Help!!!

Well, all I can say is that if I had a loved one that needed a kidney to survive and no donors were forthcoming, I'd probably pay any price (if I had it) to save their life and legalities would not enter my mind. From the sounds of it, you need to find someone that desperatly needs a kidney that also has the cash to pay you. You sound as if you are in a desperate situation. I wish you the best and hope that things get better for you.

I wish I had the answers for guidelines, but unfortunatly I don't. I would have to say that one con about donating your liver. You will have only one liver left to live with. Lets hope your one liver can keep you alive and not mess up on you. It is nice that you want to donate a liver to help someone. But what kind of time does this buy the person you are donating a liver to? I would think about that. Now if the person damaged their liver in some way, then I would understand. Anyways, I wish you the best of luck on donating a liver. Thanks

Dear friend, Think it over! If we were make with 2 kidneys, it is because we need them. Although at your age one kidney might be enough, you will grow old and you will need the two of them. I have seen it in people I know. As for the word "donate", don´t use it. You want to "sell" a part of your body, not to give it. Do you need money so desperatly that you can part with a kidney? Only you can answer that. I heard a while ago about a teen who sold his kidney to buy an ipad. That is not valid for me. But maybe I´d think it over if there was hunger in my closer family. I don´t know

Hello Miss.. I understand what can happen to me. And yet the need is so pressing that I can't move forward... It is not iPad or something, I have graver and sincere reasons for doing so... I need to 'sell' it, asap... Thank you!

My very best wishes to you. I hope everything solves in the best way in your life. It is very sad that a young person must sell part of his body to go on living. And it is also a shame, as it means that something is very wrong in the world. Take care!

That's as good as selling your kidney. That's not that right way to help others if u really meant to. In singapore, so long as money or benefits are given to the donor, it's considered illegal and both parties can be fined, jailed or both. There are many ways to donate your kidney via the right channels, especially hospitals. I'm sure there are thousands of people there waiting for the right ones to come along, that would help to change their life.

Hello... I know what I propose to do is selling the organ. It is illegal almost in every part of the world... But my need for money is quite too desperate... I'm ready to do anything. After trying all the channels, I've decided to do this. It is no fun for me, of course; but I must... I know it'll save one life and I want my life saved too.. Hope God is with me... Thanks a lot Miss... Merry Christmas...

I think it's nice of you to do it. But not for financial reasons. Money goes and you are still left with much life to live and one never knows how their health will go and you might need that other kidney one day. For instance if you become diabetic or other unforeseen health reasons. Please don't do this. You are not an organ pimp. And you have two for a reason.

Hello Joni... I am in such a desperate need that life itself wouldn't be of no use, if I fail now. The circumstances which I had not foreseen have placed me in a position that I can do anything for money... And the need is desperate as there is time restriction too... And I have not got anywhere yet... :( If you know someone who is in need, please let me know...

In my opinion you have your idea to help people who have an illness in the kidney. But to tell you the truth you will not live any longer whom you aspire with because 1 kidney is not an assurance for you to live healthier as before that you have two kidney. That could help neutralized your toxins in the body, balance your electrolytes, wash away the toxins that has been taken in.If that is the reason for you that you want a large money inhand at a time because 1 kidney itself cost a lot but in later years you may suffer. You will manifest later kidney failure if you wil do that.Well anyways you will decide for yourself too.

Hi Friend... Thanks a lot.. I understand the risks and the dangers. And yet, I am convinced that I must take this step to get out of this situation... Gosh, I never understood the importance of money... I have made a lot more money and spent it on friends etc. I regret I did not save any..:( Must face the reality however, I hope God won't desert me now...
