Learn English from Playing Online Game

I am a Chinese.
I am not good at English because I do not want to learn grammar.
Recently, I play a online game called Lord of the Ring Online (LOTRO)
It is free of charge.
In order to get better items,
player must group other other 5 people in game to kill monster in dungeon.
Well, some dungeon need some technique.
Those serious player will turn on their mic and ask you to turn on the speaker in order you give our command.
It indeed is a kind of English Listening Exam to me.
As players from all over the world, all with different accent.
It is a very good chance to learn new English words, Train my listen skill, also my oral or English typing.
I recommend this method to all people who can to learn English.
Player in this game is mature and nice, not teenagers.
If you tell others you are learning English, they are patient and try to help!

Well first LOTRO is not a True Free to play , its so bound by many things that you cant say its actually "free'
But anyway yes , i first learned english from cartoons , then mostly practice it by playing online games . I played lots of mmo's and for now i just play League of legends , because its fun and have a great pvp , not like the RPG-s online :)

I just play 20US in ebay to buy a moria code.
Then i can earn enough points got upgrade my account for all what i need.
Even the most latest pack, cost me more than 3000 points.
Still no problem with me.
Besides that 20US, i did not invest any more!
It also depends how much time put on game.
After i find mylot,
the time i play LOTRO is less then before.

Hi.
There are many techniques in teaching English , and yes game can be a help. But I do not recommend to have game solely in teaching English.
When I'm teaching English I give variation so boredom will not strike us. I ask students what they want and I equip my lesson plans for the week. If you want to enhance your listening skill take part in a conversation and have some dictation activities.

That is a another good way we can practices our English grammar.Each of us have our own unique way to learn something, but the main point is we must keep hard to gain knowledge
