How to recruit people?Please HELP!!

Hello,I want to ask for your help or suggestion: I am an English teacher,freelance writer and also a match reporter for statistical data provider..I am grateful that my boss at the company thought that my working performance is good (despite one fatal mistake I made during one of the matches in last SEA GAMES). As I have to be off the pitch after minor surgery (my toe thumb`s nail was extracted), my boss offered me a new job opportunity:still match-reporter related, but now different. I am in charged of recruiting match reporters from other countries ( now reporters from Japan are needed) and I will handle them,train them etc. How to recruit people effectively?I posted this to linkedin,some football forums but still no CVs yet..please help me..thank you

I do not wish to make you feel bad. However, I thought that I have a good idea about recruiting people. Nonetheless, when I read through your discussion, it came through me that I do not even understand as to what it is that you do which you need to recruit people for. Your work is just simply beyond me.

I have just thought of something. There must be some people you know who have friends in Japan. Ask for their names and phone numbers. You can start there by knowing as to who are into sports and into this type of work that you are into.

How about telling what you need instead of telling your "life story" and non interesting info like removing a small thing like a toe nail?
Try to stick to the subject if there is something you are looking for.
Since I still don't know what you are recruiting for and why.
