I remember, 4 years ago, hubby won a Honda Wave 125 motorcycle in our company's Christmas party as the grand prize. We're planning to buy one that time, gladly we won first before we had buy one. That brand and specs was what hubby aspired for. Lucky us!
T'was then priced P42K... where else in the world can anyone get that with no sweat?! Thanks company!
On hubby's current company now, they will have their Christmas party at Mall of Asia SMX on Friday. 4 pieces 32 inches LCD tv's are to be won as the grand prices and a lot lot more. A must attended party huh!... and wishing some luck again this time *lol
Have you been so lucky in some raffles you have joined so far?

Lucky you...must i be full of envy? The most that I have won in a raffle draw is a desk fan and an electric stove on separate occasions. lol. Not even worth having side by side with the motorbike nor the LCD tv set.
However, I would like you to bring the good news at mylot about having won an LCD TV set, too, during that upcoming party! Good luck.

Wow, what a blessing..Now if only somewhere there is a raffle for a car, that is what I really need right now..
Anyway, yes I have won a few raffles in my life, mostly when I put my name in and forget about it..
The most recent 2 was in the last month. Around mid-Nov my college had an open house where they had a drawing, and the big prizes was 600.00 scholarship, along with various things from the bookstore. I actually went because I wanted to talk to my adviser, but in the back of my mind, I did want to put my name in too. When I got there, I was told it would be a two-hour wait to speak with my adviser, so I said I would call her, but the student handed me a paper to put my name and contact info for the drawing. On the way out, my 9 y/o said I'd probably not win and I said, if I did win, I'd win a t-shirt or coffee mug from the bookstore. This was on a Thursday, on Monday I called to talk to my adviser, forgetting about the drawing, and the woman who answered the phone said she was getting ready to call me, that I won the scholarship money..
Next a week ago our local Cashland had a customer appreciation day where people can bring in their gold to sell and get an extra 20% of what it was worth. My husband had this ring that didn't fit me, so we went in to sell it and the woman said that for each piece sold, the customer will get a ticket to win one of various gift baskets. So my husband sold the ring and filled out the ticket. What I didn't know until the call earlier this week is, he didn't put his name on it, but mine and I won one of the baskets. (which I am getting ready to post the picture of it here soon.)
I was reminded that things like this comes in threes, so I hope my third blessing is my book I am polishing now will be published soon after I find an agent..
I hope you win the TV, that is also a great prize.....
