Hi everyone.....
Today, i am alone in my home and on leave from duty because my father and mom have gone to attend a marriage ceremony of my mom's cousin. So, i have to do all house chores today till they return. Now i have made my launch. Its rice, omelet, soya curry and radish fry.
Hmmmm.... i think all have been made tasty. but alas, i am the single to taste it. There is no one to appreciate my cooking after tasting them.
Do you like to make food only for yourself although there is no one on your launch/dinner? Or you just go to outside leaving home?
Anyway, now i am going to taste my items and after then i have to clean my closet. Meet you later.

I live alone for a long time, yet I don´t like to have my meals alone. Many times I bring something to the computer and I talk with my friends here at mylot while I eat. I invite a lot so as to have fun while eating.

I would invite you, if you lived nearer. I´m a very good cook. But now I´m not in the mood of inviting since I am on a very strict diet since I finished my chemo. I will have to take care of what I eat for at least 2 months and then go little by little.

I don't mind cooking by myself. I deserve something tasty and if no one is around to share it, that doesn't lessen my enjoyment of it. It's important to be able to appreciate life on our own as well as enjoy having others around. You deserve that nice dish you made and should enjoy it as much as you would if you were sharing it. Give a bit to the cat or throw a little out for the birds and that way you can share your food with someone.

Like you, its boring to me too. I am an expert cook (feedback says ) but a lazy cook. Yes, those items were delicious and as you have mentioned my cat and birds and even my cow also shared my items and the appreciated it by their own way. hehehehe.
have a nice time.

shiby,
Are you sure you can eat what you cook?
You can ask your neighbor to taste it and if there is nothing left- that means you are a good cook

I am sure it turns out well. As long as you can eat it then there is less possibility my brother will go starving~(^^)
Anyway this is not your first time right?? How about dinner?? I think you are done with your dinner right now. If it just me alone I don't think I will have feeling to cook. I would rather buy something outside. But it just what I think. The actual is I will still cook even if it just me and me only~ Homemade cook is the best!!!(^^)

Hi hanum....
I made my dinner too as mom did not return yet but father did. He was too tired for the long journey and i had to cook. I am living in a village, hence its hard to satisfy my stomach outside. When i stay in my job place, i take my launch on hotels.
have a nice time sister.

Loneliness in rare occasions are enjoyable to me. We can complete many pending works as well as do some cleaning works, rearranging books, refresh equipments etc during such time. Cooking for self alone is a boring thing to me. But I do it as I always tries maximum to avoid hotels for main foods in a day.

Wow! I too do that - I mean I would get me a fresh bread from the bakery, and make a large omellete of 3 eggs with ample chillies and onions. Then make neat sandwiches and eat them with tomato sauce. That is because we used to eat like that in hostels.
Radish curry..I prefer raw radish. I really dont know soy curry. And I would really love to learn how to make those mushrooms and lotus seeds.

I have experienced for a year having to eat everything I cook alone. It's kinda sad because no one would appreciate the efforts I made because I am the only one who will eat it. Although I know I am never a good cook, at least I thought I need someone to tell me whether my cooking is improving or still bad
Enjoy your food!

Yup just one year.. coz after that I met friends. All of us take turns in cooking, but most of the time I was the one cooking. I hope they liked it I hope I still know how to cook when I get married so my future hubby won't complain
Yeah you're a boy, it's a girl's job But it's okay I enjoy cooking but I use to forget how to cook if I don't always cook.

I guess I'm used to being alone, maybe i'm a loner but i like it that way. but it's good sometimes that people appreciate us and our work, but not all the time because we could become big heads one day, but of course, "no man is an island" right?
Have some friends to come over and maybe have a good time
Nice day

hi shibham oh its good for you once in awhile to cook just for
yourself. When I was still in an apartment I did have to cook
for myself only as my son worked long hours away from home. I
really learned to enjoy cooking, trying out new recipes and
I just really enjoyed it.oh I did eat out occasionally but
thats expensive.also I got so I liked cooking for myself.
at least that way I could do a great job of controlling
my blood sugar and here its much harder. I have not much choice in
what I am given to eat. but I am really getting good at keeping
my blood sugar where it belongs.Being a diabetic is easier if
you have all say so over what you eat but here I can just leave]out the things that will shoot my blood sugar up.

Hi shibham, it sounds like you had a wonderful day alone...sometimes
its great having a nice long day to do just what you want to do at
your own paste..Having a day of cleaning and it sounds like you should
have gotten a lot done.
The lunch you prepared for yourself sounds good especially if thats
what you wanted to eat...

Hi Shibham!
When I am alone and no one is with me,well that is my time to do things I really wanted! Actually, I love to cook, experimenting some dishes haha. No one can criticize it.. I can eat whatever I want. I am not usually fund in going outside to eat. I am so much comfortble in our house and do some things like listening music, watching movies and mylotting haha!
Goodluck!
