What to wear in a Dinner and Dance Party / myLot

I am going to a Dinner and Dance Party but I do not know what to wear. They did not write down the attire. I fear of either being overly dressed or being too plain/casual. What would be the best to wear in this kind of occasion?

I would go in whatever made me comfortable and that I knew I looked good in. If it is a dinner and dance I would think that something alittle on the fancy side wouldn't be bad. Dinners are usually somewhat fancy. If you aren't comfortable in real fancy dresses or whatever then just wear something that you are comfy in.

Stay comfortable with your dress always and never give anyone to put negative comments on your attire. thats the best suggestion that i can give you. take care.

You can wear a plain dress for the party. I think color of dress can be appropriate according to concept of dinner or party. It could be black if the area will be classical, it could be red if the party attendees are young.

Hi tkarabulut! Black is classic. I actually like that color on me. However, it seems that I often wearing that color when I attend events.
