i think this is the best performance from Barcelona... thats great.. i do hope this is time for MOurinho for admitting... where are you Mourinho?? what is your reason now?? referee again?? we are bored when you only blame referee again... search any other reason... lets see the starting line up Madrid: Casillas, Coentrao, Pepe, Ramos, Marcelo, Alonso, Lass (Khedira 62'), Di Maria (Higuain 68'), Oezil (Kaka 57'), Ronaldo, Benzema Barca: Valdes, Alves, Pique, Puyol, Abidal, Sergio, Xavi, Iniesta (Pedro 88'), Cesc (Keita 78'), Messi, Alexis (Villa 83') i think pep is smarter when he make his defender is solid..he place Busquet and Pique in central defender when Puyol as right defender and Abidal as left defender.. And Xavi and iniesta is two central midfielder...he place too Messi is behind Sanches and Cesc in right winger and Dani Alves in left winger..it make barcelona is balanced... Mou make failure when alonso is alone when lass always is too far away for supporting Xabi alonso..Khedira as subistitution is play far away from his best form..this is bad game for Ozil... Madrid make a failure again when they let Barcelona is too dominant...thats fatal i think.. even Madrid lead the first, but will let Barcelona is dominant, is not good for the team...Casillas can save some messi chance but he can`t save 3 chance and become the goal for barcelona.. this is best gift for barcelona.. and i think Mou must learn how to be play football from Pep guardiola and barcelona team.. don`t be shy for admit mou...

Barcelona have shown now that they still are the worlds best team right now and the free scoring real madrid could not upset them. I had seen a lot of matches where pep guardiola used to play central midfielders as central defenders. Good to see pique and puyol in the defence. With marcherano and buesquets in central defence barcelona were fragile in the defence. Kudos to barcelona for winning 3-1

Real Madrid defending wasn't up to scratch in defense to be fair they had about 3 guys on Messi and none marking the likes of Alexis Sanchez and Xavi. Also it was evident that Dani Alves was given more freedom than he should have, overall this was a good analysis on the game. I agree i was important for Barcelona to have to the two defenders in defense for this game.

@peter baretta: 100 percent right..real madrid is not better like their said..this game is hold in Santiago Bernebau when many people in stadium really hate barcelona and support real madrid..you can imagine if the game was hold in Nou camp... @bryan : whether the reason of real madrid fans, madrid always difficult for stopping messi...

You can say what you want, but Barcelona is the best club in the world. The spirit, teamplay and organisation is perfect! I always enjoyed watching to Barcelona no doubt. (Sorry for my bad english ;p)

Barcelona ensured that the La Liga title chase remains in tact. Had they lost today, they could have kissed their title aspirations bye bye. Again it shows that the Barca team has much more than just beautiful football, they know how to get results out in big games. Cesc is beginning to become more and more influential in the Barca midfield and it was good to see him score in the El-Classico. Cheers! Ram

top performance from Barcelona again, i thought Alexis Sanchez scored a quality goal, it was a great finish and Fabregas has been on form as well with his header and so on. You could say Real Madrid were unlucky with the Messi challenge on Xabi Alonso but if you compare both teams, Barcelona we're clearly better and more dominant again. No excuses for Real Madrid they just need to develop their own talent to stand a chance against Barcelona who have treated their rivals as whipping boys as of late.

why you only blame the challenges messi for xabi? so what do you called many brutality tackling from lassana diarra, sergio ramos and pepe when they must stop messi and cesc fabregas??

To be fair to Real Madrid, Lionel Messi should have gone for two yellows. He went crashing in just minutes after being booked for dissent. If he had been sent off the game could have been much different.

really?? so what is your opinion about pepe.?? i think pepe is deserved to get red card..he always make a brutality tackling.. it`s same case with sergio ramos.. why they are always making a brutality tackling when must stop messi movemenet??

I don't think Real madrid can ever beat Barcelona for the next 2-3 years as well. Real madrid is relying on individual players and even though the same players has been playing together for 2 seasons now, they are still way behind Barca's players who has been playing as a team for at least a decade since most of them are from the youth academy. With that, no matter how Real madrid thrash other teams, as long as they don't win against Barca, they are not considered being the best yet.
