Is there anyone in your family incarcerated?

I have been watching the TV show Locked up Raw all afternoon..It
is really terrible how much time time and how many differect
crimes they have done.. I mean like 50 years times 3 for killing.
Some of these poeple are very young when they commit these crimes.
and are there for the rest of their lives..But if you do the
crime you must do the time.
I have a nephew in prison for selling drugs..he will be out in
Feb. 2012 and his mother will be more than happy..he swears he
has learned his lesson because he is still young and wants to
be a part of society for real. I wish him much much luck to
eventually come out and and try to walk the long and narrow...
I will surely be praying for him..For I do think people can truly
be rehabilitated. If the person wants to be rehabilitated..Its
hard but its done.
Do you have anyone incarcerated???

I have a friend of the family that is incarcerated. He is a good guy buy has obviously made some bad decisions. These young kids that do the crimes seem to think they won't get caught and are unable to be hurt or incarcerated. I think they come down to earth after awhile behind bars. Life in prison is not easy.

thanks for responding celticeagle, you are right it seem
as tho they reach a certain age and they simply know everthing.
So sometimes its the incarceration that brings them back
to reality. Some learn and others don't, thats the sad scenerio.

The larger percentage of the incarcerated return without a couple of years.

No direct member of my family who is incarcerated but a nephew who is a son of a distant relative has been incarcerated for frustrated murder. His case is still pending at the RTC, Ozamiz City. I don't have any knowledge of his situation at the jail.

No, I don't know anyone in my family has been incarcerated, and that is something really serious. Luckily, no one in my family actually commit a serious crime yet, and they all behaved well. Hopefully, that will never happen to anyone, and people will know what they are doing.

Hello BJ,
I don't have any person from my family or friend who was imprisoned for any crime.
But yes people do understand it once they are punished for what they did and its not difficult to get improved but there are certain people who never understand it and do the same crime again and again as if no punishment could improve them.
Its good to see that guy is determined to go on the right path and live life as a good person.May he got an enough lesson.

Nope. I don't have any of my relative who incarcerated. They are all just fine.
