Editing HTML Sorties In Profile

I know how to do it. Go to profile edit profile hit edit in right hand corner of the sortie. Do your editing and hit save changes. Easy enough, right? NOT! I tried to edit a link in an existing sortie, no option to save changes -- just the same ol' reload symbol, edit, and X options. Tried it in Opera, Firefox, and IE browsers. All the same. OK, I'll just redo the sortie by adding it again and deleting the old one. I hit add content, check off HTML, and a new editing box opens. I enter the content and YES! there is a save changes option! I hit save changes, and... nothing! I mean nothing, the box has defaulted to blank. WTF?! Oh yeah, now I can't even delete it or cancel it. Just got this stuck blank box. It's been awhile since I screwed around setting up my profile, but I remember it was a PITA! Can someone please refresh my memory on the trick(s)? Or is it just one of those aggravating glitches that nothing but try, try, and try again will fix. (BTW, I did a search on past discussions on this and got no results. HUH?! I know this has come up before. *grumbles*)
