There are so many websites in the Internet. All are full of valuable information. Some reputed sites publish articles of different eminent figures in the field of the topic of publication. But do you believe that all information we gather from those reputed sites is worthy of trust? If it is not so, how is it possible for the users to verify the reliability of any article published there? Is there any site that can throw light in this query of mine?

Nops.. Every information on internet is not right.. almost 20%-25% websites are providing wrong information just for marketing purpose. They get money for being affiliate of product.. by doing this they don't even hesitate to provide wrong information about anything..

Any information found on the internet is only as good as the site you find it on. I was doing some research and found conflicting information on two less used sites. So I had to go to a more reputable site and varify my information before feeling confidant to publish my article. Wikipedia is a good site to varify most information I have found.

No you can't believe everything you see on the internet, seeing as anyone can do a webpage they can say anything it is just a case of doing a lot of research until you yourself are satisfied as to what the truth is.

While I tend to believe that there is a lot of very valuable information that can be found on the internet, I also think that there is a lot of junk that can be found on the internet as well.
The reason that I say this is the case is because of the fact that anyone can put up a webpage if they are willing to pay the hosting fees and if they are adept enough to make their page.

You have obviously discovered that everything on the internet can'tbe true because there's so much conflicting information. The best thing to do is research, research, research. Why is this web site up? Is it selling something? Chances are they are presenting the positive. Even reputable sites that publish recent findings can be wrong simply because they didn't bother to check all the details.
Check out a LOT of sites, weigh the information positive against negative. If there's more positive information than negative on sites that aren't selling something then the positive is probably right.
Wikipedia is a great site for information, but remember it is user submitted and can be biased in favor of the user's opinion.

The best I can suggest is to read several sites and compare the information you get. We belong to several web sites that are composed of people with like interests. When in doubt about a subject we put it up for discussion on that site.
Like anything else it takes research to get the best information.

Please remember that while internet is a valuable source of information, it is primarily an engine of interest promotion. The interest may be business or political or anything else. Sites which do not have an interest to promote are a rarity. If a site is giving out information on any given subject, it tailors this information according to its promotional objectives. The truth may be something different. All this makes it difficult to verify the factual accuracy of the information.
The best way is to browse a lot of sites of different interests and orientations and form our own opinion. Hard work indeed.

Hello. it is very simple. Internet is a medium which is available to every one. Here some one can post what he wants. It is not a matter that informations are true or false. So we cannot believe on informations which we read here. Here thousands sites is available who offer us lot of earning from simple jobs, but moreover are scam and fraud. It is not possible to check the status of and site.

I don't think that sites on the Internet provide valuable information. A lot of them of course do and are genuine, but there are a lot of fakes and information that was made by someone unexperienced about what they write. For instance there are a lot of information pages and encyclopedias on the internet which have a lot of information, but are those true? Some yes, some no. There are even some that allow random anonymous people to edit articles so everybody can go to those sites and write whatever they please. Maybe somebody writes stupid things just out of pure fun..
Have a happy next year :)
