Do you think Christmas is only for people who believe in Jesus Christ? Do you think there are people like Buddhist or people who doesn't even know Jesus that also celebrate Christmas? I think the Muslims know Jesus and somehow celebrates Christmas on their own way as a respect.

Festivals is set up to celebrate, commemorate the past or make people happy. Just like Thanksgiving day, Fathers' day and April fool's day. The meaning of the Festival existence is to make people's lives better, isn't it? As long as we can make our life better, why go to care about whom the festival belong to?

You got a point on your first two lines but the third line doesn't sound good to me.

everyone must celebrate Christmas even though they are not Christians just like people (including me) celebrating Dinagyang Festival here in Iloilo City even though i am not an aborigin Aeta warrior since i am belong to a modern man, and i am not into a nino Jesus relics... just to show some respect is the primary reasons.... and here is another reason.... we all celebrating Halloween Celebration even though we are not pagans, and we have a different type of beliefs and religions but still to show some respect, then we have to celebrate Halloween by wearing bloody horror dress....

Christmas is the commemoration of our Lord's birth. It is a symbol of celebration of giving and love for one another. As a christian it is our responsibility not only to share Christmas to our own religion but to all humanity as a sign of the goodness that still resides in mankind. It should not only be a basis of religion but being human.

Christmas (Christ mas) is for celebrating Jesus's birth. it has nothing to do with Santa, elves or reindeers and if Muslims are willing to awknowledge the birth of Jesus, then absolutely.

Hi Jacruz, When we hear the word December one thing is only comes in our mind its Christmas time again and as many knows and define Christmas as time for loving, sharing and giving where historic folklore about Santa Claus -others will disguise. Not everyone here celebrates Christmas in due respect to others who celebrate Christmas we also go to our friend's house if they invite us. We also give money for those carolers and for those children who comes in our house as Filipino traditions they bless to the elders in exchange of money as gift.

It should be, since what we celebrate is the borned of Jesus Christ thats why is called Christmas. I see many people nowadays celebrating it, but , they dont know very well what is about , they just like the ornaments and the gifts , the vacation they get in those days, is not something spiritual, In my house we celebrate all together brothers and sisters with parents and children , is a family matter, and we all believe that Jesus Christ is borning that day, its so nice because, we really believe by heart in Christmas day.

i don't think like that jacruz, those who have interested can join and enjoy the festival. before god all are equal there is no caste or creed. those who have the faith in christ can enjoy it i think we can't compel them to participate in christmas now a days all are celebrating every festival.

I do celebrate Christmas with my Christian friends, when I was in college, I had a friend who originates from an Indian state of Kerala where a lot of Christian population is there, he took his six friends including me to celebrate Christmas at his native place and boy I was stunned to see the beauty of the Christmas tree and various cultural activities they do with Christmas. I don't think Christmas is only for Christians, everybody who believes in peace and harmony can celebrate Christmas as I do celebrate although I'm a Hindu.
