I remember when I was still a kid that I'm very excited during Christmas. I don't really know why am I so happy during the month of December(probably it is because christmas vacation, money, food, holiday and cold weather). As a kid I always receive something from my Godparents or from my auntie or uncle either money or a gift during December. Well that what makes Christmas so exciting for all children.. Now that I'm an adult I'll do my best to make other children happy during December.

No I don't think christmas is just for kids, it is better when there are kids around, they are a joy to watch, but if you get your self into a festive mood and be thankful for what you have in life Christmas can be wonderful.

Hello, all festivals are for every one. But only style of celebration is changed. When we are child we have not any responsibility. So we only enjoy festivals. When we are elder than we enjoy festival by arranging for our younger to celebrate festivals. At this time you enjoying Christmas by making children happy.

i know it seems that way for me. i miss those years when i would be excited like that. but now that i am about to have my first baby, it is hard to focus on much else other than the baby. but the baby will not be here until next june, so i will not get to experience the fun of its first Christmas until next year

To a certain extent, I do think that Christmas is about the children. However, I still really enjoy Christmas because of the fact that I'm able to give a lot of special gifts to my children. However, the other reason that I still love the Christmas season is because of the fact that I have the opportunity to see family members that I don't usually get to see and I love what Christmas is really all about.

hello,
Yeah, it is different now that we are adult. We must now give the children happiness that we experience when we are young. Like us we know how does it feels when we are happy in Christmas because of the gift that we received from different people. So, let the children experience the essence of Christmas by means of giving them what they wish for. Ho. ho. Ho

While I don't think that Christmas is only for kids, I agree that it's different once you're grown up. I think Christmas is about going home and seeing your family if you don't have kids yet. If you do have kids, then I think it's about making it a fun, magical time for them. The Christmas spirit is a great thing, and everyone should be able to experience it! I think all cultures have a holiday where you celebrate family and a time of giving :)

I also remembered that things during Christmas.Kids really enjoy this Holidays. The gifts, money and places to go.
But it is not them only, its for all of us.We have just to enjoy the season, remembering the birth of Jesus and be happy.Count the blessings and make this season memorable and worth it.

I think that Christmas is for children and adults, it's for anyone.
I love Christmas. I decorate my place for Christmas. I don't go all out, but I do as much as I can afford.

Christmas lost it's magic for good when I lost my mom in 2005. But before that , I had lost my love for it why? Two things , as a teen i decides to be Jewish And during the year I could get what I wanted. I didn't have wait for Christmas. But as I started to care less about what I got , I got more excited about what to surprise my mom with. Her last Christmas was the best Christmas ever. So now she is gone Christmas is just another day.
I agree Christmas is the best time for kids. They wait All year to see what they will be under the tree. Back in the day I would always get a toy for a girl and a boy for Toys For Tots. that way poor kids can have something fun too.

I don't know what to say if Christmas, invented only for kids. As far as I'm concerned people all over the says Christmas is for all because our Lord Jesus Christ were born to save the world...
That what people say around the world. But you know I am a Christian, but not celebrating Christmas...because I do believe that is baseless and unfounded in the bible...if Christmas, was found in the bible that must be regularly practice every December 25 of the end of the year...I will follow and practice it but sad to say Christmas, is not base on the bible but a pagan festivities which is the bible prohibit people to practice those practice by the pagan...

It can be true that christmas can be seen as a holiday that is so often enjoyed by children. i don't see christmas as a holiday only for the children thoughl. It is a time that can be celerated by anyone, young and old alike.

Christmas is better when you are a kid, but I don't think it is just for kids. A lot of adults enjoy it also. Me for one! Actually it should be for everyone as it is a religious holiday. It doesn't depend on age to celebrate Jesus's birth.

No matter what the celebration is the kids will be the happiest group as the will get many gifts and things from others. While the adults they care more about the meaning of the celebration itself, the reasons behind it and the relationship with others. That is why kids no nothing but just enjoy themselves and they will wait patiently for the celebration. They still do not know the real meaning of it. In the future they will know the importance of it.(^^)

Christmas is definitely not for kids! I love the holiday decorations, putting up trees (I've done 4 this year to help out friends!), and giving gifts. I've gotten so excited about all the gifts I've bought I'm pretty sure I've hinted and given most of them away!

I don't really think that Christmas is necessarily just for kids. Christmas can be fun, even as an adult. Sure, it can be more enjoyable, when we're kids, or when there are kids around. But it doesn't mean that Christmas is only for kids, and can only be enjoyed by children.

Hey Jacruz.
As long as our parents live we are their kids. It is healthy to keep your inner child alive and keep appreciating as much as the simple things in life as possible. How many people do you know that enjoy and like seeing butterflies for example and how many do you know that take them for granted ? And that's just one example.
I still have to get some gifts for my girlfriend, actually just one that I had my eye on for some time :)

Of course not. Christmas is not only for kids, but it's for everyone. It is usually the time for sharing all the blessings we've received to everyone.

Even a child who is deprived materially, looks forward to the joyfulness and the merriment that the Yuletide season brings. Yes, the caroling, the gift-giving and/or gift-receiving, the visit to the godparents with the sure hope of receiving gifts or money, among other things. Christmas to a child is indeed a happy occasion.
But it is also for everyone who believes in the birth of Jesus, and of giving his life on the cross for the sake of all humankind.
